Delial Brewster has signed for Chesterfield from Everton.

Be interesting to see how he manages to get on in league 2 after being sent back to Everton as he couldn't get into southports (who were relegated to the conference north) match day squad
Alright money bags, it's all we can afford, alright!

Cheltenham/Grimsby fans - Can you tell me anything about Ryan Jennings who had a loan spell at yourselves during 2015/16?
Can't actually remember much about him. Seemed quite lightweight but a bit quick and a bit of skill. Don't think he scored/assisted in his 10 or so games here.

Keith Curle made a comment about other teams sorting out their transfer business while we were still competing the playoffs putting us at a disadvantage, maybe the same is true for you, though Luton seem to be signing people. I suppose with Luton though you have to factor in that every young player in Europe dreams of one day playing for Luton.
Who knows with Tisdale. I think he's more concerned about buffing up his man bag, rather than signing people.

Brentford goalkeeper Jack Bonham rumoured to be signing for us on loan.

Know F all about him, very inexperienced for a 23yr old.

We've signed Harry Beautyman from Northampton on a free transfer. Obviously didn't make the grade at Peterborough or Northampton in League One but will hopefully be a good signing for us at this level.

Being linked to Mullin from Morecambe, according to some guy on twitter it's between ourselves and Tranmere.

We've signed Charlie Cooper permanently. Hardly a shock but a good signing imo, still young, improving and did well for us last season.
Turned down two Premier league academies and 4 championship clubs apparently as they wouldn't offer first team football, so a massive coup!

Apparently Nottingham Forest and QPR are after Pelly Ruddock, although I'm pretty sure it's bollocks. Leeds made a last ditch bid during last summer's transfer window.

Get a bid of £500,000 and sell sell sell.

He's not got the footballing brain to make it at that level.

Incredibly frustrating player, you can see he has something there but just never puts it all together consistently. Not helped by being moved all over midfield just when he was settling in to a role that looked like he was suited for.

500k would be ridiculous, don't think anyone would pay that. If we got offered half or a third of that I'd expect us to sell him.

That website is known for BS rumours thoufh right?

Pelly has a big future. Frustrating yes but has quality in abundance. Can't ever understand the amount of stick he gets tbh. Clearly affects him as well. Seems to be the scapegoat a lot of the time, one misplaced pass and there's people shouting at him.

Say what you like about him the boy has quality when played in the correct position and it is someone we would miss if we was to let him go.

I think your last sentence describes Ross Barkley and yet they reckon he might go for £50 million. Bonkers

See Curtis Tilt who we had on loan from Wrexham during the run in last season has gone to Blackpool. He's one I would have loved to see us sign, great pace and skills and bags of potential.

Cowley has told our local paper he's been up to Hartlepool to meet with a player. I'm putting 2+2 together and assuming it's Padraig Amond.

Bit old at 29 for the DC/NC?

I know we had Arnold, which was a success and Champion much less so (in fact, useless).

No chance it's Amond as he doesn't live here and has been in Ireland the past week. More likely Brad Walker (sorry)

Yeovil sign Rhys Browne from us for an undisclosed fee. Can't tell you much about him as he barely played for us but he seemed to do well on loan at Macclesfield. I was looking forward to seeing him play next season. Disappointed.

If we sold for £175,000 we would probably not make that much profit if any. And it would be less than what we turned down a year ago. Do West Ham have a sell on fee?

We are in no position to have to sell anyone so the price goes up and up.

Staying nice and local to his family then.

Jon Stead re-signs for Notts

Scores goals (usually the same type of goal - cut in, shoot from wide angle), does naff all other than run around a lot.

Once again Notts have not released how long the deal is which indicates it could have an option for another year which means he will be playing for us when he's 36

He doesn't even score enough goals for him to be one of those players you don't mind being shite at everything else. He's utter fucking wank.

It sounds dramatic but he's one of the main reasons I couldn't be arsed with Notts for the first time since I was about 4 - I can forgive terrible defending as the sadist in me likes seeing chaos, goals and comical centre backs but sticking that useless tin man upfront makes us an instantly uninteresting side.

I read some bullshit rumour somewhere that both Luton AND Coventry have tabled £400,000 bids for James Collins. :eyes:

Definitely bullshit, miles out of our current price range. I was looking on Coventry's forum the other day and posters there claiming to be ITK (obviously I have no idea if they are or not) were saying that their highest bid was £150,000 and they were unable to match our £200,000. That kind of figure sounds a lot more plausible to me, it would still be a record bid in the 2020 era for us I believe.

I think we paid £180,000 for Cameron McGeehan a couple of years back - I don't think we've spent more on anyone else? I think though this summer we'll break that record.

It was in that sort of ballpark yeah. I could see us going a bit higher than that for sure should the right player come along but no way would we go near a £400k bid currently.

We're set to sign Scott Laird on a two year deal from Scunthorpe, according to Sky sources. An experienced left back is exactly what we needed, that should mean we don't see a lot of Wishart there which can only make us more solid.

Not that would be a signing and a half.
