O'Grady is a good signing, will probably be the best striker in this league to be honest.

Class signing O'Grady for us!! Exactly the type of quality you need in this league aswell, hardworker with an eye for goal! We really need to beef up our midfield now though, still think we're too inexperienced and light weight in there! Goalkeepers, Defence and Attack sorted already though which is positive!

What for all the goals he gets?
Seem to remember him scoring on a regular basis last time he was in this league??? I'll say it again though, Jack Lester wasn't exactly the most fruitful in front of goal before he signed for us, he was always the second striker at forest and blades... Then look what happened

I'll be honest in saying a couple of seasons out of League Two has sent me out of the loop a bit. Who would people say are the most likely to be top goal scorer?

I assumed Akinde and Collins were probably the big hitters. But unsure of who people have signed.

What we looking at now?

Lee/Anyon

Hird - Evatt - Maguire

Wiseman - Binnom Williams

Sinnott - Rowley - Mitchell

O'Grady - Dennis

Something like that?
You have to worry about that midfield don't you, but the rest, suprisingly, doesn't actually look bad

O'Grady is a battering ram of a striker, he got 15 in the Championship the other year so I expect he'll get at least double figures at this level.

Oh dear, that's the number one jersey nailed on for Farman then. How did he make it at Arsenal and Swansea if he's so bad?!
Tommy Forecast made it at Spurs, you don't have to be that good.

It all depends if we can get the ball into him in dangerous areas tbh, last year it wouldn't matter if we had Aguero up front because we didn't create anything

I feel like we may enter the season hoping that Marc McNulty is the man to get the goals for us and I'm not sure how I feel about that. A lot of a good strikers being signed up by the competition.

Tbh, that's what we're probably short of just yet, though I suspect Evans will be sorting something in the background.

We've more than decent forwards as it is in Angol and Rose, but just that 1 more should finish things off.

According to the bookings, Mansfield, Luton and Coventry should be in league 1 next season - let's see!

I think he is a decent keeper. Good kick on him and decent shot stopper. Can be a bit flappy but being only 21 has plenty of time to develop and become more commanding.

Those two plus Danny Hylton are the big three left as it stands I would say. There's also Godden from Stevenage and Wheeler from Exeter who hit 20 and 19 respectively last year, both at under a goal every other game I believe.

Hylton had the best goals to minutes ratio of any of the above last season, but he missed a number of games through suspension for stupid bookings.

I expect McNulty to be a 15 goal striker, but I'm not sure where else goals will come from at the moment. Biamou sounds good but he's very unproven, and we're not exactly flush for goalscorers already on the books. I imagine George Thomas will be off as a lot of teams seem to be sniffing around, and using the money we get for that well will be crucial.

We've got the best winger in L2 in Nicky Adams and we have a pretty strong midfield.

Amine Linganzi has been released by Portsmouth, would've really liked him here but no chance now. He'd be a great signing for anyone at this level.

Our young home grown back up keeper Craig King has rejected our offer of a new contract and decided to leave the pro game due to struggles with depression. Very sad story, he's also a really talented young keeper so fingers crossed he can rediscover his love for life and the game and return one day when he is in a better place.

Just read that. Sad situation but also pleased he is getting of something that was clearly causing him some pain.

The statement is very mature for a 20 year old who has been going through something like that, very admirable and brave thing to do to come out and say it.

I hear Luton are looking to offload Hylton because they feel he would get in the way of James Collins.

Only joking.

Wanted. A decent striker. Not much money to spend and very little hope of staying up.
