I can see Justin coming in for Potts before long. Potts hasn't done anything wrong but you can't drop Stacey and Justin has to play. And he proved he can do it against Villa. If both come off we could be setting up like this

https://www.buildlineup.com/shared/599f55238dd5dd25d4d20ff6

Subs: Shea, Sheehan, Rea, Lee, D'ath, Lee, Cornick

Thats without Potts, Gambin, Cook and the youth team lot.

With a couple of additions that side would be good enough maybe to get promoted from the next level. Serious, serious side for this level.

Ridiculous spending in this league this season. A lot of it will be hidden in wages and agent fees too.

In all seriousness, if they pull these two signings off all credit to the board and manager. Two players of the highest calibre at this level. We would have an embarrassment of riches; I genuinely wouldn't know how to fit everyone in. Players like James Justin who got promoted to the England U20 squad yesterday, can't get a sniff because Jack Stacey is playing so well. You've also got Olly Lee and Dan Potts almost playing above expectations; Lawson D'Ath was doing well before he got injured, Luke Gambin had a great preseason but has barely featured.

Transfers in this summer:
Alan McCormack, Jack Stacey, James Collins, Marek Stech, James Shea, Elliot Lee, Andrew Shinnie (loan), Harry Isted, Harry Cornick, Luke Berry?, Sonny Bradley?

Not bad is it?

You say that like we're total shit this season. Bit arrogant!
Barnet will take a lot of points off teams this season. Leave Akinde there to take points off our rivals and we can pick him off next summer.

If Sonny Bradley goes to Luton for 250k I'll get anus munchies tattoo'd on my forehead :fl::fl:

Maybe triple it and you can have him. Also don't think he will go to the Championship because as good a defender as he is, he's still slow and would get found out a bit I think. Maybe a lower end side would come in for him but surprised if it's Leeds.

If Luton don't go up this season, they might as well pack it all in.

£250k seems a low release clause for Cambridge to agree to unless there's an explanation behind it.

Tend to agree. Sceptical about both of these but at least the reports about Berry are that we have agreed a fee. The reports about Bradley are just that we've bid, so seems a bit further away from reality than the Berry rumour!

Berry would be a fantastic bit of business. Though if word gets out and that release clause is correct I can't imagine Luton will be the only club in for him at that price!

Referring to the respective 'size' and financial muscle of the clubs. Might well have said 'shouldn't be losing to anyone'. But you beat them. Kudos.

Caldwell has just confirmed in this mornings presser that we're on the verge of signing left back Andy kellett from Wigan on a season long loan!!

After the injury to Binnom-Williams and sale of Donohue this signing is exactly what we needed!

Seen him play a few times and always thought he looked good, had a strange loan spell at man united a few seasons back aswell, so they must have seen something in him!

A few rumours relevant to this league at our end.

We're in advanced talks to bring Dean Cox back from Crawley, Casey not sure of the details, but it would appear Crawley aren't playing him for financial reasons as he is on a big contract there in terms of wages. Steve Davis said at a fans forum on Tuesday that if he was to come back, it would have to be on a sensible package for us.

We're also after a target man from this league as well, I'd heard rumours we were after Paul Hayes - But I think this was a wind up more than anything, as he did start for Wycombe on Saturday.
I'm begging you please take Hayes he's fucking shot, the only reason he played last Saturday was because of injuries and was subbed at H/T he was that bad.

I doubt that mate  My cousin was at the game Saturday and when Hayes name was read out the groan in the home end came from nearly every mouth. I'm afraid to say his age and injury problems have done for him he's even lost the captaincy to El-Adb who we signed in the summer, thank god his contract is up next year.

Given that some Luton fans (not all) give off the impression they're bigger than the sun, the 1-0 loss to you boys was rather amusing, irrespective on whether you're shit or not.

Crewe fans, what's James Jones like?

We were due to sign him but called it off due to his lack of match fitness so we will probably come back in January.

Oh bollocks do we. You've spent too long in lower league football.

11 goals from CM for a truly abysmal side last season is very good. That said he's not the finished article and he's certainly not ready for the second tier and I fear it's another case of the club pimping out its players far too early yet again.

Had a setback coming back to fitness but I'm surprised a club have bid for him despite him missing the whole of pre-season due to injury. I don't see how he'd even get into the Preston side as well...

Berry is a great signing for Luton, but you have to question the lads ambition and desire, taking such a sideways step.

Awesome signing, fucking love that. He's a better version of Cam McGeehan for (reportedly) much less money.

It's Luton's league to lose, not even their fuck up and fail past can stop them now.

Great signing
