Tom Davies is a no-nonsense centre-half. A committed type, not particularly good on the ball but pretty solid otherwise. He made the occasional gaffe last season for us but they were possibly caused by him needing to pass the ball around to fit in with Cook's style.

Word on the street is that Davies and Carl Baker may both be heading your way with Ben Stevenson coming in the other direction? Davies may be over-priced at £100k so that some of the money can be used to cover Baker's salary drop. Not sure how much truth there is in all this.

Suspicious that we'll end up losing another one we hadn't intended to, Pelly seems the popular rumour. Not sure he's worth a huge fee tbh but I'd rather just not sell so late in the window and with us having signed him down to a new long term contract like a month ago, no rush from our perspective. Exactly, he'll get chances alright, might just have to watch the oppo having a fuck load as well. Should be good preparation for if he ever gets first team football up there, Klopp not exactly big on defending either.
