Good signing that. I wanted us to go in for him as he’s got plenty of L1 experience for a 24 year old.

Our best signing so far imo, loads of appearances in League 1 and still only 24.

He was leaving halfway through 2016/17 to go back south but ended up staying on.

Oh! Fair enough, if him not signing means it's getting in the way of us going about business then it makes sense. As good as he was at times last season, I was never fully confident that he wasn't to slip back into the 16/17 Summerfield.

I'm mates with an Oxford fan (whisper it) and a Coventry fan and from conversations in passing on our lower league watsapp group regard him as a bit of a liability.

Happy with Aaron Martin as he has a good enough pedigree plus he’s hopefully going to be good enough to make a difference in L2.

He obviously needs regular games, which he’s not had at Oxford so fingers crossed he can prove himeself with us.

Aye, that has been in The Championship mind. A brilliant record in League 1 a couple of years back, could be that his legs have gone but if we get a fraction of the player from 2 seasons ago it’ll be a brilliant signing.

2 year deals are really really risky, it tells me that this is a 2 year plan at promotion. If they all turn out to be crap then we’re in big trouble.
