Seriously you had a player called Wealth and now you're signing someone called Gold?
Maybe Zander Diamond should be next on your radar.

Some Johnny Cash on at half time?

Don't want this to get out of hand, like a dropped fiver, but maybe then get Richard Money in as manager.

The real irony is that we don’t have a pot to piss in.

According to our local journo, the first official bid has come in for Mo Eisa from Peterborough.
What fee have you put on him? Imagine they’re expectig well over 6/7m for Jack marriott so will have some cash burning a hole in their pocket for the next one on the production line. They’re annoyingly good at this transfer stuff

Well as it’s Steve Evans whatever fee it is will be handed over in a brown paper unmarked envelope.

Fylde want 200k for Rowe, we've offered 100k. He's apparently desperate to join. I cant see us going much higher than 100k though.

They are, but they're also good at developing young players they've bought. Not something
Evans has ever been great at, so it will be interesting to see how some of their signings turn out. Not necessarily Eisa, who is good enough to slot in at most L1 teams I'd imagine. The likes of Dembele, though? Can't see Evans getting the best out of him.

£1.5m is what's been quoted - I suspect we'll accept anything in the region of a million.

To be fair CJ Hamilton came on leaps and bounds under Evans last season, might have happened anyway but he was superb under him and he could make the club some serious money.

Scott Quigley now confirmed 1 year loan deal.

Thats our strike force complete. He has a decent scoring record with TNS and a league below last season at Wrexham so I am happy with that.

Get Howkins on loan as hoped and we can be very satisfied with our summer.

Ah okay, fair enough. Did he bring his own backroom staff in alongside Raynor or was it Murray's team still there?

We've cancelled midfielder Connor Smith's contract, can't say I'm too surprised or dissapointed as he was pretty poor for us, and now it frees up some wages, hopefully to put towards a decent holding midfielder now he and Gobern have left.

In better news Omar Sowunmi has signed a new two year contract, which is a huge relief as he improved massively last season and I was almost certain he would move on. It also means that our defence is pretty much sorted.

A question for MK Dons fans.

Based on your current squad, do you have room for a midfielder whose best years are behind him, has no defensive qualities to talk of and who specialises in bringing fast, free-flowing attacking moves to a shuddering halt to allow the opposition plenty of time to regroup?

Brought his own in, most of them have joined Peterborough today actually.

Dominic Poleon (spillcocker = Pokémon) signs for Crawley from Bradford. Undisclosed fee! There's some of the Boldewijn transfer cash being spent. A striker come winger.

We've already had Bradford fans on the forum saying sorry ... Happy he's left, but sorry for us.

I do seem to recall he wasn't bad for Wimbledon a couple of seasons ago but I might be dreaming.

When/ if Harley signs for MK (expecting it to happen tomorrow) it will be another sign of intent from Taylor to seriously freshen things up.

In his first spell Harley was awesome, at times unplayable, but since coming back he’s missed more and more games through injury and the top performances are fewer and further between. He’s almost 34 too so is on the decline in age also. That said he’s still capable of smashing it, which he showed in the play off semis things Lincoln, but I just think this move is best for both parties we don’t think Taylor would have used him much.

Tisdale really does love a former player doesn’t he....

Non League Lewandowski. Quigley is pure class. He's 6'4" but quick, skilful and can score off either foot with ease. Fitness/stamina the only issue with him, he is usually fucked after 75 minutes.

Wrexham fans have no idea what a class player is anymore, it’s impossible after being in non-League for so long.

Looks as though he has a decent scoring record so will be an interesting one. Miller, Pope and Quigley give us some competition for places plus Dodds and Kanu can play up top. I’m hopeful with this squad for once!
