Our back up keeper we signed for a month is out injured now, to be honest I reckon DF might be after a number one keeper not a backup.

Our young lad up top Graham is injured alongside Davies so we only have two legitimate strikers and one of them could be recalled up to the 15th.

And we need cover for CB, I’m expecting 3 signings this month.

Even in the warm ups he didn’t fill me with confidence, he was fumbling in tame shots in that before the Port Vale game.

Doesn’t sound like we want anyone other than Rhys Healey in this window, which is alright because Cardiff seem like they want to leave it to the last minute and we can manage without him for a few games. That plays into our hands really as I highly doubt anyone else would be happy to wait until the end of January to see if they get him or not.

Other than that I’d ideally like some defensive cover but with injuries coming back I guess we’ve got enough cover all over the pitch. I did hear Surridge mentioned but I do t think the interest goes beyond ‘oh we were outbid by Preston for Stockley when they offered 5x the wages we did, who else could we bring in?’

Not really sure we need another left back but if he’s an upgrade on what we have then fair enough.

As with all of our loan signings of young players from Premier/Championship clubs, he is 'highly rated' by his manager. I'm waiting for the day we sign a loan player from say Spurs and they say 'yeah we don't rate him, Swindon is probably his level' etc.

Wellens has said that he doesn't want Taylor at LB, which is sensible as his lack of pace as an attacking LB is never going to work. This new lad sounds promising. If we can get Sid Nelson permanently I'll be a lot happier.

Happened against us. Drop ball with o’toole. Proper freak accident. Wouldn’t say he’s an attacking mid, just a pure Cm. Keeps things ticking, very tidy on the ball.
