Enoch was an unreal prospect for us when we signed him from Limassol. Rumours of Spurs in the press looking at a £2 million bid but then got crocked against Colchester and was out for 18 months and couldn’t get back fit. Surprised he has been signed by and EFL club as his injury looked to have ended his pro career and had been floating between clubs like Whitehawk and Nuneaton, we even had a look at him again in the reserves last season.

Get him anywhere near the level he was at when we signed him and you’ll have a very exciting player.

Him and Uche the early part of the season we had him before his injury were unplayable at times! I’d kill for a strike force like that again.

I was a big fan of Adam Dawson 3 years ago. A very good national league winger on his day. Shame how his career has gone since then. Hope Sol Campbell sorts him out as he’s obviously got issues.

Welsh been playing much? wasn't sure if he had the legs for it anymore.

For both unfortunately their best days are behind them. Pringle has a bit of class on the ball and good delivery but no pace and is poor defensively. He’s starting pretty much every game and I’d probably try and sign him in May, depending on his wage demands.

Welsh looked good early on but we went on an awful run and he was one of the unfortunate ones to make way. He’s in the squad each week which I’m pleased about.

I was never totally convinced about Adam Dawson in his first spell at Rovers, he offered something different, but only a couple of assists and no goals. He quickly fell foul of Micky Mellon on his return, with a couple of half-hearted performances and his career has gone downhill since; think he's been at around dozen clubs in total and still in his mid 20s. Hope Sol Campbell can get him on the right track.

Some talk of Ash Taylor coming back to Tranmere. I'm not sure that another central defender is a priority and Ash often a target for the boo boys, so think unlikely, but wonder if Cobblers fans have heard anything?

I would be amazed if Dawson does anything at Macclesfield. I have never been sure whether he has a genuine personal issue, or is just a chancer. He has had seventeen clubs and has only played sixty games in total for all of them.

I am not sure he is Football League standard even if he does play.

That should keep Flitcroft going for, um, at least a week. Expect a new one next week, he's starting to rrevert to kind.

Adam Dawson really is a mystery.

First became aware of him August 2015 when he played against us for Kidderminster and was the best player on the pitch. Left the ground wishing we had a player like him, barely a week later we signed him. He got off to a decent start, really skilful player and a joy to watch. He’s got a history in futsal and it shows with his touch, step overs and skills some of which leave you mesmerised. He soon got injured and we didn’t see him again.

Brief spells at Nuneaton and Eastleigh then we resigned him a year after his first spell here. We never really seen him though, a few substitute appearances here and there but he didn’t live up to his reputation. We released him early from his 18 month contract. Despite his undoubted ability he has serious attitude problems and that off the pitch.

Only just turned 26 but his career and the amount of times he’s moved on speaks volumes. Check out his Wikipedia;

Strong rumours these ways we’ve managed to tie Norwood down to a new deal. He’s out of contract this summer and our chairman has said we wouldn’t sell in January we’d let his contract run down if needs be.

Looks like it will be announced tomorrow. I wouldn’t be surprised if the agreement is he signs now but there is a buyout clause which will allow him to move on in the summer if a club matches it.

We're likely to have a signing in today or tomorrow by the sounds of it. Probably a defender, but not overly bothered, they might not even be a regular depending on how long Eddie Nolan and Nicky Hunt are out. Need to keep clearing out the deadwood and get a striker/winger in to offer competition to the guys upfront. Or an attacking midfielder.

Seems that McCartan will stay with us for the season. Today is the final day Bradford can recall him but they're local paper are reporting that they're happy for him to see the season out here.

That gives us one less position to worry about and McCartan didn't want to go back anyway so it works well for everyone IMO.
