Opportunistic signing perhaps. Don't know if we play the kind of football to provide him with chances, and you're taking a bit of a risk with someone who's had such a tough time with injury, but he's also someone who scores goals in League Two promotion campaigns and you'd expect him to score a few goals if he does get the chances.

It's pretty simple with Cully. Create chances for him and he'll score you goals, all types of them as well, not just tap-ins. If you don't, he'll still work hard and put a shift in but will otherwise be pretty ineffective. Good character though.

I'd drive him here myself. Yeah, he's a bit of a pantomime villain type for us but he's never really done anything Challinor-esque to warrant us properly hating him. He can do a job for us and 100% provides something we don't have. Would be a great signing for the rest of this season. Can't see it happening unless Lincoln sign a striker though...and probably not even then.

Curle came out recently and said about the need for a target man, wouldnt be shocked to see us go for someone he knows well. Hes 35 though, considering how much he has gone on about matching a certain profile it would seem odd to spend big money on someone that age.

It's Jabo though, and last time Curle signed Jabo he started banging them in for fun.

Jules should only be backup to Cameron and Kelleher anyway. If Demetriou's any good then I imagine he'll start. Big striker needed before the window closes - does Matt Rhead still live round here?

I know some players we've signed in the past have come with bad reviews from previous clubs but the Vale forum stating "Shocked he’s still a professional footballer" and "Could be a bonus for us helping them relegate themselves!" doesn't inspire much confidence.

We were told Anthony Griffith and Akpo Sodje were both terrible by Darlington fans... Amongst others, both were decent for us, so you never know!

Heard this last week. Personally, and this isn’t sour grapes, I really don’t rate him.

He’s played as a CDM for us and while he’s decent at winning the ball and being a bit of a disruptor type player, he offers nothing else. He has the passing ability of a National League South player and his general composure and awareness is poor. If you play him with creative players he can do a job but he’s not really L2 level imo.

I guess we’d only let him go if we had a replacement lined up so could be someone coming in for us if Tillson goes.

Have you heard if it’s a loan or permanent?
