Heard this last week. Personally, and this isn’t sour grapes, I really don’t rate him.

He’s played as a CDM for us and while he’s decent at winning the ball and being a bit of a disruptor type player, he offers nothing else. He has the passing ability of a National League South player and his general composure and awareness is poor. If you play him with creative players he can do a job but he’s not really L2 level imo.

I guess we’d only let him go if we had a replacement lined up so could be someone coming in for us if Tillson goes.

Have you heard if it’s a loan or permanent?

This is precisely what we need - happy for him to win it and knock it 5 yards to Tozer or Clements to make a decent pass.

We've re-signed Ryan Seager. Good signing, a hometown boy who loves the club and another striker which is what we desperately need.

Fair enough. Don’t get me wrong you can’t fault his commitment. Hope he does well.

Looks like he played 1 game, then another 51 minutes in a 2nd before being subbed off. I know some players we've signed in the past have come with bad reviews from previous clubs but the Vale forum stating "Shocked he’s still a professional footballer" and "Could be a bonus for us helping them relegate themselves!" doesn't inspire much confidence.
I wouldn’t listen to Vale fans, they told us Sam Kelly and JJ Hooper were rubbish and went missing in most games, how wrong they were.

Oh, hold on a minute..........

We did warn you! The squad was the subject of much shame when Hooper scored against us!

Kelly... isn't he in Scotland now? He scored wonder goals... and thats about it!

Rumours that Nathan Thomas is ending his loan here and going to Carlisle so there’s a chance that this could turn out to be a great few days despite the owner posting a picture of his dick on Twitter.

Well we haven't been able to buy Sid Nelson, who fast became a fans favourite on loan from Millwall this season. He's only gone and signed for Tranmere :(

An absolute nutcase of a footballer, will head and throw himself in front of everything. I have no doubt he'll be a fans favourite very quickly, he plays with his heart on his sleeve and I wish him well.

One of the worst tackles ive seen was by him for Chesterfield last season and didnt somehow see red!

I can imagine that he has that kind of streak in him. To be fair whenever I saw him he was hard but fair.

I can still remember the away game at Crawley earlier this season when we played the second half with 9 men and held out until 99 minutes that the guy was absolutely gutted at the end of the match. He built a real bond with the fans, just a shame he'll be building that bond further away now!

I can't remember the horror show he had, I want to say the 2-2 v Colchester.

He's said in his interview that he's quick for a CB, based on the brief highlights of that 2-2 game it looked like pace was a huge limiting factor for him! He is massively at fault for the 2nd goal, which probably is why you remember him for that game.

Yeah thats it, right on half time if I recall, long punt down the line and he got done and their lad cuts it back for Courtney Senior to slot home.

We’ve also signed Mitch Rose from Grimsby. Has to be an improvement on the basis that he’s played some games this season for a team in this league which isn’t us.

Very much out of the blue that one I think. Although our performances have been better without him of late. You've got a very good penalty taker!

Really surprised by this but pretty happy.

Great at pens but that protected him from some absolutely shite performances. He thinks he’s better than he is and plays as if he’s got cement in his boots.

Magnificent at RB against Palace and that’s it. Fairly well liked but if we replace him with better he won’t be missed.

All set for Thomas to come in and set the league alight having been shite (I'm guessing..?) for County, doesn't look too bad a signing on paper. Defender Grant signs til the end of the season from Plymouth too. Looks like O'Hare to come in, would love Yates back after that, and that'll be a very useful January all things considered.

Rose is capable of a stormer but that is rare. Always makes mistakes and is quite easy in the tackle. But he is an excellent penalty taker and has got a great long throw. 3 straight relegation scraps for him for consecutive clubs?

Again, I will always be very thankful for those 3 penalties that he scored!

Notts can survive if they get lots of penalties between now and of the season like us last year!

It was Preston's decision to recall him and send him to Tranmere. Better for him geographically and there's a good chance Tranmere will be paying a higher proportion of his wages.
Exactly the case. Same with the lad from Swindon.

Is Sid Nelson a midfielder, we’re a bit short of midfielders at the moment.

Of course he’s been shite, everyone has been shite, but Thomas has even managed to stand out as particularly bad.

He’s very adept at shooting wildly from 40 yards, dribbling until he either falls over or loses it and, in a genuine season highlight for us, having a full on tantrum on the floor whilst the game went on around him because someone slightly overhit a pass.
