Did you hear what the fee was for Digby? To be fair I think you have up to date accounts so it might be on there.
Can't remember at all, might have been mentioned on our forum, I'll have a scan.
ETA Can't find anything bar "undisclosed fee", probably would have to check accounts.

His deal expires in the summer but Fylde have the option to extend it by a further 12 months, which they'll obviously do. Cheltenham had £175k turned down during the summer.
Isn’t he one of those players who earns good money from a job and it wouldn’t be worth him turning full time pro?

Nope, Fylde have been full-time for a while now. He'll certainly be well paid though.

I'd imagine he's on a fair whack (for us), but looking at our outs and ins as a whole I'd also imagine the budget book has been balanced accordingly. I'm not 100% convinced on Dennis as a player, but in a season that is looking increasingly like we're going neither up nor down I'm happy he's here and has half a season to show us what he's capable of as it essentially doesn't matter if it proves to be a poor loan signing. Hopefully he'll prove me wrong though and we can sign him up permanently. Really pleased with our Jan window. Probably our best one for a long time.

I would be amazed if we let him go without you guys paying all/the vast majority of his wages. Suspect it’s what allowed us to get Doyle in.

He’s a good player but needs to play up front in a two with a target man and our idiotic summer recruitment means that we simply can’t play that way, so he’s an expensive substitute at best currently. Hoping he can get a few goals and some confidence to come back in the summer when we can build a vaguely balanced squad, whichever league we’re in.

Crawley had a fans forum today (good timing after a 3-0 loss) The manager and coach were there as was Selim our esteemed director of football (who came to us from a marketing position). He was asked about transfer target for the summer and the name he came up with was "name deleted"

To be fair he said ..."I really love Name Deleted - who I know is a former player here. I will forward all my ideas onto Mr Cioffi, and we will look at those together and approach them when the time is right. " (from the twitter feed).

Obviously his present club will have some views on this and I have redacted the name as I think it shows a lack of class naming him. I also think it is delusional going for a player who may well be a division higher next season, playing every week for a bigger club and who left Crawley to move back closer to his home in the north.

We were also (again) told we have a top half budget this season. Which when you look at our results begs the question "on whom are we spending this money"?

Scott Twine, our 19 year old youth product has signed a new contract. 2.5 years.

He has 2 goals this season, one a lovely flick against York in the cup and another goal in the league against Stevenage. He is very slight but could be the 'next Billy Bodin'. Good to see we are getting players tied down now, we only have a handful of players under contract after this season.

Our injury situation is getting that bad we are looking for a free agent striker to fill the bench.

Danny Rose injury is really bad, severed artery, fractured jaw, good chance he's done for this season along with White, Graham and Ojenik.

Crikey. Did HHH turn up with his trusty sledge hammer or something.

Haven't you got a few close to the 10 yellow cards, 2 game ban as well?

Yeah Sweeney is now serving it for next two games leaving us with two CBS.

Bish is a card away, Preston two I think.

Although Bish is our engine in midfield we at least have suitable replacements for him. Unfortunately we are one or two injury’s away from disaster. Very unlucky.

Providing he doesn’t get one at county Maybe he might want to “pick it up” against forest green with Cheltenham at home and port vale away follow

Matty Pollock signs his first pro deal with the club until 2021. Jamie Pollocks son for those who remember the ex Middlesbrough midfielder.

Only come on as sub once so far against Exeter but highly thought of and yet another sign that the club are investing in youth and looking at a long term plan. Also good to see that Neil woods has made a difference to the youth team since his return to the club.

I can't take you seriously as a Grimsby fan being called Posh Harry from Boro.

Was it Jamie Pollock that scored one of the greatest own goals of all time when he was at Man City?

We've currently got Kingsley Eshun - a striker released by QPR on trial, he scored in a friendly against Oldham last week. Also got a couple other un-named triallists. Anyone know where David Edgar went? He turned down an offer of a trial with us back in January because of location, since then he's had trials at Tranmere, Sunderland and Bradford but hasn't had a contract offer from any of them.

I don’t think Edgar was ever under consideration at Rovers, but training with us as closest to his Manchester base.

Lewis McGugan on trial with Vale... what ever became of him, I watched him destroy Vale in the FA Youth cup for Forest, then he repeated the trick against the first team a year later and was going well for him up until 2-3 years ago.

George Ray, Ben Garratt, Jordan Bowery and Paul Green all in the last few months of their contract. Seems like Ray is likely off, Garratt possibly staying and up in the air with the other two.

Green is the only one I’d be disappointed to lose. Ray is slightly overrated but it’ll be disappointing to lose a potential fee. Bowery has been awful recently and even at his best he isn’t great. I like Garratt, he’s probably as good as we can get at this level and huge potential to improve with the right coaching.

West Bromwich are "showing interest" in David Sesay. He is a right back who has forced himself into our team as a left back over the last month or so. Came to us in the summer after being released by Watford.

The national comics are rumouring a £350k fee! Which if true I would rip their arm of for. He is not bad at all but he has played less than 10 games.

It would be disappointing to lose Ray on a free. Hes no superstar and will be probably play out his career at league 1/2 level. But we rely on getting fees for our academy players, hes good enough to bring us a 6 figure fee in my opinion. I'm fussed about Bowery, hes very hit and miss and is one of the biggest earners at the club. I think Green and Garratt will sign, no problem.

Seems we dodged a bullet when we sold Josh Yorwerth to Posh in the summer. Undisclosed fee but rumoured to be £100k. Four year ban for deliberately missing a random drugs test. He then admitted to taking cocaine in the fa hearing.

I would expect the ban to be reduced on appeal or it effectively ends his career which is very harsh.
