Who are the teams you have played without Doyle as i presume 2 of them were against us where you only picked up a point.
You guys seem absolutely ruthless against the bottom half of the league but really struggle against the top 10 sides.

One thing is for certain, both your fanbase & ours are going to looking at each others results very keenly!

We played against them at Swindon, with him, and beat them 1-0...

Carlisle at home and Scunny away, first 2 games of the season. Both wins.

Our injury jinx has struck again. About to sign Jenneh from Bristol City and he’s done his ankle. Out for 3 months!

We’ve opted not to extend Zac Rudden’s loan from Rangers. He was hopeless. Looks like he’s off to Partick Thistle.

I knew all that hard work in the jungle would take its toll on her.

Krystian Pearce and Jacob Mellis have been told they can leave, I dunno if it’s a ‘somebody come bid’ or it’s just fuck off.

Pearce was the best defender in the best defence last season, he’s been rubbish this season but every player has, I think there’s more to this because on ability alone you would not get rid, maybe something has gone off behind the scenes.

Jacob Mellis in terms of ability, is probably upper L1. In terms of effort, commitment, being arsed - it’s more Sunday league having a Benson at half time. Glad to see him going personally.

I would expect many more to come.

Read that about Pearce this afternoon and thought it as a weird one. As Conker says, there must be something else to that. He was immense last season. Someone can get a very good defender there.

We’ve sold 16 year old Marcus Ifil to Brighton for a reported 275k

He never made a first team appearance for us.

He’s also told Pearce and Mellis they have a opportunity to roll up their sleeves and change his mind. I really hope Pearce manages to do that.

They're worth a punt if you're another team in this division. Pearce has been a model professional in the rest of his time here so he's probably become disillusioned with the absolute farce we've become and wants out. Mellis is a good player but looks overweight to me.

I think we need to dismantle the core of our squad and rebuild as the culture of the team has shifted and we need to get back to doing the basics well. There are likely to be some good players available from us over this transfer window and the summer.

Pearce was in deep conversation with his agent after training last Tuesday.

Looks like Salford are after him.

James Alabi is set to sign for Eastleigh tomorrow, I've also heard Louis Dennis maybe sold back to Bromley as well.

Not sure how true this is - But Salford tried to buy Lee Angol from us, but then pulled out and went for Tom Eliott instead after he became avaliable.

No news on any incomings for us yet.

Are you at liberty to be more specific? Like who are the two players? Two first teamers does seem a tad odd, though I'm not doubting Salford's spending power.

What??? That's madness if true.

Seriously though, losing Angol would've been a big blow indeed imo. I do rate him when he's on form.

He’s decent enough. Attitude is very questionable when things aren’t going his way. Not really suited to how we’ve been playing with him up front on his own. Worst player on the pitch yesterday. If Salford wanted to pay over the odds for him I wouldn’t really be that bothered.

I think both names are out on the open now via local media albeit nothing is signed, sealed and delivered but Andrade and O'Connor are the two they're after.

Andrade's been out since mid-November with a hamstring injury and got back into training last week and O'Connor didn't even make the squad yesterday despite playing nearly every game he's been available. It seems like we're having a squad re-build mid-season the way it's going.

If anybody signs Pearce I hope it’s Salford because they will pay more than anybody else.

Strange how people see things differently. I thought he was a real handful yesterday despite the easy miss in the first half.
we were after him previously and wouldn’t mind him coming to us although the attitude thing would probably be an issue for our manager.

Can't believe what's gone wrong there. Player of the season for most of the seasons he's been here but the last 6 months his performances have been dire and tried turning the dressing room against Dempster. I'd still sooner sack Preston off mind.

Pearce is twice the player Preston and Sweeney will ever be.

His movement was reasonably good in the first hour, but after that he looked like he gave up. Petulant, nasty foul for his booking. Abysmal hold up play throughout and was never anywhere near the superb crosses JMD kept swinging into the box. I suspect he’d be much more effective with a strike partner doing the dirty work, but as Embleton is insisting on 4-3-3 I don’t really think he should be in the side.

Michael Appleton has confirmed Bruno Andrade is set to join Salford having been offered a deal that we couldn't match.

How depressing. He should be going up the leagues, not down.

Roughly trebling his wage as well. Not a wonder their owners have needed to put in £2.5m already so far this season.

Good old FFP. Guess they are really going for it second half of the season.

Occy might stay as he left us a league above Notts because he wanted to be nearer his Lincoln home eventually making it all the way.
