160 goals in over 600 career games.....He is not getting any younger. shocking was a bit tongue in cheek

I think Clarke and Turnbull are two good signings...Lowe steady and Henderson will be steady.
The lad from fleetwood looks ok
Think we have done better business so far...but you will say i am bias we will only see next may.
Truth be known i would be happy to have either Henderson or Vaughan as back up to Doyle

maybe he’s one of those players that gets better late in their career. He’s 35 now but as I say his last 4 or 5 seasons in league 1 have been excellent in terms of goals. If Salford use him correctly he could easily hit 20+ goals in this league.

I agree my comment was just to get you to bite.....would welcome either Henderson or camps from Rochdale

I don’t think there’s many clubs in League Two that could justify paying Vaughan’s wages alongside the compensation we’d need to replace him. You’d need to honour at least a 2/3 year deal on circa £5k per week, and probably compensate us with £300k.

Henderson would fair very well in this league.

we cannot pay a fee for any player so that would be a no go....Maynard perhaps

Now Camps is definitely a player who would take the piss at this level. Way too good for League 2.

Henderson might be 35, but he is an absolute fitness freak. Whether Salford can live up to his standards of professionalism is another matter.

He'd probably be a better fit for Bolton, tbh. Comley and Darcy holding in midfield, Sarcevic as No.10, Hendo up top, Politic wide right and Joe Bunney wide left would be rather tasty. (Doyle can be sub or loaned back to Swindon. )

Camps rumoured to be heading to Fleetwood. Not a bad move for him (and presumably a pay rise), but being out of contract ought to have been worth signing by a less pretentious Championship team of the Preston/Rotherham/Millwall sort.

No proof of first....Doyle put it on record he was offered more money elsewhere
Loans can be 12 month,if we can offer 3 year contracts why would we not be able to loan players for longer than 6 months.
Total team salary is not under the embargo..

Do your research.......stop being bitter

All of those were conditions last season. Do some research.

Bitter? We're signing Evatt's number one target!

WE have Ryan Delaney and it seems Joe Bunney is on trial both left backs...Guess he is happy enough with them.

What do you think of Delaney? Saw him play a few times when he was at Rochdale and Wimbledon and he's always looked solid (except that FA Cup replay against Spurs). He's my flatmates cousin and they are quite close. Apparently you guys are setting up to play 3 centre halves.

Is Matty Platt going to be the new defensive version of Rakish Bingham?

I already can’t wait to see him play. I’ve seen Sergio Ramos live, but I get the feeling this is going to be up several levels.

Bolton fan referring to a 35 year old as a shocking signing but then commit £5000 a week for a 32 year old.

Strange one he is a unit 6/5 played four times one goal...Signed a 18 month contract in January a hill signing...Only seen him twice and he had one thing in his mind...hoof not a Evatt player. Maybe a benchwarmer

Doyle has stated he was offered more elsewhere.

Must be true then. In no way would a footballer tell a lie, especially as it is going to make him an instant hero with the fans for showing how committed he is to your club and how he will soon be kissing the badge and telling everyone what a great club it is.

It’s only what we were paying him (£5k), by all accounts. He transferred to Swindon, reportedly earning less and given the season he had, it wouldn’t surprise me if he was offered more than £5k p/w, tbh.

Does anyone get the feeling that all the other Bolton fans are just watching masi51 from a distance, looking at all the contradictions he's making and general random nonsense, before daring dip their toes in here?

B2TF in the non league page would have an absolute field day with him!!

That’s fine, just. But what’s difficult to understand is the 3 year deal. Ask Bradford fans how an underperforming Doyle stretched their finances and impacted on other recruitment. Would any basement club want to commit £250,000 pa on a 35 year old?

Salford seem happy to shell that out on Henderson

Tbf, Salford haven’t teetered on the edge of oblivion and have Peter Lim as owner
