So I assume it’s 15% then? A bit disappointing but it would still give us a nice windfall....If someone actually pulls their finger out and signs him!
The owner of GPG (Brentfords forum), Banana, was the first person to categorically say the £18m buyout clause was false. LLB from Exeweb claims he's ITK. Seems to be. At the same of rubbishing the 18m claim he did say he 'believed' it was 20%, so I'm happy to go with that.

Funny this - The Athletic said in an article this week that Bolton owners face a £3.5m bill for unsecured creditors, to be paid in August 2021.
very true....unfortunatly in my opinion Football creditors ie players etc get 100 per cent of money owing to them
As does the taxman
ALL these payments have been met and paid in full
.......................................................................................................................................................................

Now the unfortunate people who got shafted and only received 35p in the pound

Suppliers, utilities and even st johns ambulance will receive that money before 31st aug 2021.....This was agreed by debtors and the administration

We also are paying 59k a month to the hotel again agreed when in administration.

The bill is still estimated to be £3.5m. It was close to £10m when Bassini was trying to take over, and your new owners negotiated the 35p in a pound deal. Plus the £700k per year for the hotel, it looks like a financial shitshow all round. No promotion and it could be curtains.

We’ve loaned Scott Twine to Newport. Scored a few in preseason, including an absolute screamer against Coventry. Bit lightweight, good technically, good free kicks not sure if he’ll fit in with Newport’s agricultural approach.

35p in the pound is the correct figure from 10m
The owners agreed on this when buying the club, it is common business practice
Without doubt they have taken a hit this last 12 months yet have paid all due fees.
Our owners are clever business men and woman....Come 31st aug 2021 we will have no debt no embargo and just starting our lge 1 campaign

The paying of that bill probably relies on promotion though. Miss that, and you could be going into September next year on -15 points.

The last teams posters as confident as you of going up on this forum were Notts County. Also like you, bookies faves.

They got relegated.

I hope you're still around to laugh at come May next year if that is the case.

yeah Newport would probably have been the last club I would have thought we’d loan Twine to as on paper I doubt the way they play would suit him at all.

we’ll see though, I’ll be interested to see how he gets on.

oh and sorry to the Exeter and Bolton fans for getting in the middle of your ludicrous squabbling.

why...seriously are you on a wind up/fishing. 3.5 million is a awful lot but they have invested paid treble that in the last 12months.
The business is solvent.
Our turnover will be the biggest in the lge.
Wages well within the league salary cap.
As a business model i would expect investors would want to come aboard if money was tight

Because they are business people! They will cut their losses if things don't work out - they don't give a shit about the football club. What you are saying is that they will be content to keep paying such huge bills even if they don't get promoted. I can't see it.

On the topic of sell-on clauses...

Watford signed Glen Murray which would mean that you'd expect Troy Deeney to be off, who we have been waiting to be sold for a decade to give us a sell-on fee - but alas it looks like he is leaving on loan, further leaving us with nothing. It's been excruciating especially since there was talk of him leaving for £20-30m a couple seasons ago.

We also have a sell-on clause on Rico Henry at Brentford, so we're keeping our fingers crossed that he will get a Premier League move but as our luck with sell-on clauses seem to go, he will probably end up being at Brentford till his late 30's. If he does leave it could net us around £1m. We also would have got a fee if they were promoted but they couldn't do that, so at least please sell Brentford. Would have thought he would be going for £15m+ as a young, pacey English full back but there are reports he could be going for as little as £7m. Which would be an insane bargain for a PL club.

They are not Bills.....its money to purchase the club.
They are paying every instalment because it is run correctly and it will soon be making money.
If they get to the premier lge they may flip it and walk away job done

Carlisle were praying that Dean Henderson got sold this summer, but looks like he's staying at Man Utd.

Bill's, installments- same difference. A £3.5m bill hanging over any club in League 2 is a huge worry for them.

He had no qualms about giving you lot 250k to keep dry

Only tried to negotiate it down for a fortnight before realising we weren't budging, and it was too late to look for someone else.

no it is not.....Salford loose change Bolton likewise. Jesus christ once this pandemic is over we will turning over roughly ten times what barrow will with the same outlay.
We own prime land which could raise money.

Barrow was bought out of administration with drugs money i believe

A youtube video with two of our (Crawley) club managers has just been released where they say the team manager is looking at signing a striker and a keeper plus a couple of loans.

I check the official site and we have signed young Brighton keeper, Tom McGill, on a season long loan. He was with us for a time last season.

We've signed Norwich Youth right back 19 year old Jordan Thomas on a season long loan - This has suprised us all because we already have two right backs at the club in Sam Ling and Myles Judd.

However, for one reason or another neither fill us with much confidence. Both have spent far too much time on the treatment table and when called upon haven't exactly set the world alight - both very guilty of ball watching and poor decision making since we came back into League Two. Both did decent enough jobs when fit in the National League though, but thats been boths problem for 18 months now - both always seem to have some sort of injury.

The club appear to have identified this and brought Jordan Thomas in to push the pair of them it seems, either that or one is on the way out - likely to be Myles Judd who hasn't played in the last two friendlies.

Just cos i know many in this division will be watching him, Nathan Thomas had an unsuccessful trial at Doncaster. I still feel he's more likely to be playing League one football next year but he's a realistic target for any league Two club with ambitions of promotion and there can't be many better players at this level still available. Provided they're northern of course as he isn't really happy south of Mansfield and doesn't play well when he's not happy.

Liam Shepherd signed for Newport then, wouldn't have minded keeping him.
We had some preliminary discussions with Shepherd which didn't come to anything. Now reliant on a Celtic loanee for right-back, who'll miss about half a dozen games through Ireland U21 games, starting this weekend
