Of course and many clubs will be into admin before Xmas; joining Wigan in the non leagues
The 3.5 is not debt as such...it is part of the money the new owners need to pay to purchase the club.
They have met all payments thus far.

But its what they owe so it is debt until its paid; if they dont pay on time we get docked another 15 points

This is another "he's 28 until he becomes 29" situation in the making.

Feel like we've gone pointlessly off-track of this thread here, so have some transfer news.

Andrew Tutte signed for Bolton, never really heard of him, played a lot of games at League 1 and 2 level though. Will be depth in the midfield, any good?

Andrew William Tutte (born 21 September 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for League Two club Morecambe. He has played in the English Football League for Rochdale, Shrewsbury Town, Yeovil Town and Bury. Another non inspiring signing but we do lack the depth and its his level of football. Hopefully he will do good

Jesus Christ... You realise we're playing League 2 football in an embargo under a salary cap right? He'll be used as cover and in Cup games, played over 200 games in League 1 & 2. It's fine.

12 month contract may play 8 cup games rather see Sonny graham play in those games Rather than cast out on loan.
I see enough cover in midfield with the likes of Darcy and white. Turned Accrington down to join us. Must be something about him

You've never seen him play, or heard of him until today - Like the rest of your signings. So it doesn't really matter what you say

Lost for words.

His dad must talk a big game to get him a contract at Bolton, constantly injured and spat his dummy out a lot of the time when he didn't get his way.

A few years ago he was a very decent player at this level, it'll be a good signing if you get him anywhere close to that. If you get the Tutte who has been playing for us, then it's a total waste of time. A face like a slapped arse for most of it. (Probably hated playing for us and Adams was having none of it when he came in)

Glad to see the back of him and we are better without him, make of that what you will.

I’m honestly not sure if White is capable of being the same player post-injury and he’s not played football since he got snapped at Colchester in 2018.

Great player fit though, can play CB in a three too, unreal how quick he is/was.

I'm no physio but he seemed prone to muscle injuries and strains since that leg break. I reckon he lost some strength in his joints and muscles, obviously on one side more than the other, which affected his gait when he was already weak from sitting around. So he's become injury prone. He really needed a proper pre-season and to be given a run in the side to get match fit again. With careful management of his fitness I think he could be excellent again.

Whoever keeps getting a deal for Tutte is very good. Surprised he didnt get injured signing a contract.

Pretty content with that - I'd have got rid at the end of the season, but seems like he's really started pulling his weight in pre-season. And the fact that it's since come out that he thought Evatt was a prick explains his form last season.

Ntlhe should be a decent enough back-up and covers a couple of positions for us.

We've signed Max Harris onto a new deal. Backup goalkeeper whose been on trial all summer. Even if Josh Griffiths gets injured, I don't suspect he'll start any league games.

Michael Duff's also confirmed in an interview today that Matty Blair has agreed a deal, but the club haven't done anything official yet.

Askey has confirmed we are taking a look at Harry McKirdy... quality player on his day but a bit of a tool which may be an issue, Askey is very much orientated to having the right characters and spent the first summer clearing out the problem players!

McKirdy is quality, when we faced championship sides in cups on 3 occasions last season McKirdy was the best player on the pitch in all 3 games. Problem was he was a bit of a prick, didn’t want to be here at all, didn’t like the commute, fell out with the fans, very confrontational. We released him purely on attitude and personality, not on ability.

Think he’s from Stoke though if I remember rightly, or grew up there. So Vale might just suit him. If you get him happy and settled, with his talent and his age you could make some money off him in the future as he’s got the quality to play at a higher level easily.

Would it be too much to ask for you to say something positive about our club. You are the same on the White Review forum. The player you are talking about is called Lee O'Connor. Try to learn the players names at least.
A stalker and a personal attack in your second post? I've never seen any posts from you on White Review, unless you have a different user name there? I think it's a concern that O'Connor as our only current right-back is going to be missing 6 games meaning we'll have to improvise with a left-back/central defender there, but waiting to hear your positive take on that, which would be more interesting than sniping at a fellow Rovers fan

Thank you....I have bigged up the Doyle ,Sarcevic, and Comley signing this year, but they are easy to be smug about

Liam Gordon i think will be some player...Yes i have not seen him play as yet,but i have watched him on you tube i know his football schooling he will do well for us. Tutte is a Bolton player hence i cannot have a go at him.....i will leave it there

He is splitting the fan base opinion, do we unsettle the Apple cart? He was stand out when we met and his Grandad I believe is close friends of John Rudge.

It’s just that attitude issue, Askey wouldn’t stand for it and dare say neither would the likes of Pope and Legge.

One of them maybe where he riled us with his antics at Vale Park... oddly although stand out at times detrimental to the Carlisle course in that game chucking himself to the floor, remembered for a cowardly shove on Whitfield over the hoardings at Crewe causing a riot and nearly getting the fans spill on to him.

We will see how he gets on training with us!

Appreciate the input lad. Hopefully he can get back to his best with us carefully managing his fitness and strength training but I can’t say I’m hopeful. These signings never seem to work out for us.
