Carlisle were praying that Dean Henderson got sold this summer, but looks like he's staying at Man Utd.

We’ve supposedly got an add on in the deal for an international cap. So if he debuts for England over the next week we’ll receive something. No idea how much.

We had some preliminary discussions with Shepherd which didn't come to anything. Now reliant on a Celtic loanee for right-back, who'll miss about half a dozen games through Ireland U21 games, starting this weekend
Would it be too much to ask for you to say something positive about our club. You are the same on the White Review forum. The player you are talking about is called Lee O'Connor. Try to learn the players names at least.

35p in the pound is the correct figure from 10m
The owners agreed on this when buying the club, it is common business practice
Without doubt they have taken a hit this last 12 months yet have paid all due fees.
Our owners are clever business men and woman....Come 31st aug 2021 we will have no debt no embargo and just starting our lge 1 campaign
This is a genuine question, but how are you going to pay back £40m of loans (two £20m loans - both with 4% PA interest, which look to be secured over Club assets) by August 2021?

They're not loans that will require repayment on the original time frame. It was investment from the ownership into the management company to cover operational costs and the outgoings taken on as part of the takeover.

The club required the funding so it was supplied as loans and the interest paid is essentially the ownership dividends, the payment plan and structure of the 'loans' will be reviewed on a semi-regular basis dependant on the position of the club in the pyramid and the turnover of the businesses.

Still debt though, is it not?

Loans like this have meant we’ve been basically impossible to take over as a result. Don’t make the mistake of thinking these ‘loans’ won’t cast a great big cloud over you for years.

It's loans like this that got them in this mess in the first place.

No flies on you is there. It is, but we aren't concerned by it or indeed the repayment of it.

Well, not quite. Eddie Davies funded the club in a similar manner, then when he pulled funding the 'debt' was wiped and we were sold to Holdsworth/Anderson without any ongoing repayments to the previous owner. The problem with that was neither Holdsworth or Anderson actually had any money, they bought us using a large private loan which they secured onto club property after the takeover. Their entire business plan was to fund short term as a punt to get straight back to the Prem and make money selling us on again.

So in short, no, it wasn't loans such as the current ones in place with the new owners that were the issue.

That sounds exactly like the current situation.

Nah, the £40m 'loans' we currently have is personal funds of members of the consortium.

Masi just said "Come 31st aug 2021 we will have no debt ", which is why I made the comment.

Ahh, yeah, he chats loads of shit and clearly on the wind up. Not sure why you all keep biting to be honest.

We've signed striker Kenan Dunnwald-Turan on a free transfer, hearing he's being described as the striker version of Anthony Glennon.

He played 1 game from Bristol Rovers in 2017, then 11 games at Western-Super-Mare scoring 2 goals.

We're in for a treat this season.

Assuming we'll be seeing him in Premier League match day squads in a few months time as well, then?

Askey has confirmed we are taking a look at Harry McKirdy... quality player on his day but a bit of a tool which may be an issue, Askey is very much orientated to having the right characters and spent the first summer clearing out the problem players!

Ryan McLean is also training with us, Newcastle Town player who scored 14 in 29, has been looked at by Salford but with us this week.

We have signed Emmanuel Osadebe, Hayden White and also Jack Rose who we had on loan last season.

Very happy with that business!

I’m honestly not sure if White is capable of being the same player post-injury and he’s not played football since he got snapped at Colchester in 2018.

Great player fit though, can play CB in a three too, unreal how quick he is/was.

Latest on our forum from a Brentford fan re Watkins:
From a Villa twitter site.
So possible break through with the fee for Watkins,Villa wanted to pay 20 with add ons,now looking like basic fee will be 24 million with add ons inc goals and appearances meaning if all are met it will be worth 27 Million. #AVFC

This is virtually being confirmed around BFC IKT circles ladies and gents. Nice bit of spending money for you. For Ollies sake I hope he does well there as their fans aren’t as forgiving as ours. He’ll double his money plus a little bit so with a 4 year contract. He’ll Be set up for life.

So that's:
24 million - 1.8 million

15% £3,330,000
20% £4,440,000

Not sure if we get a % of the sell ons... I think we do as it was reported initially it was any 'future profits' from Brentford minus the £1.8m, so potentially slightly more than the above. Surely enough to get us out this league finally!

you are wrong in one or two counts and this is not a wind up. No two personal loans.....We only have two directors
Sharon Britton. Sharon loaned herself the money to buy her shares. aMichael James was owed Money by the old administration and two parcels of land [car parks] Which he used to join the board.

The was never 40m needed to purchase the club nearer mid 20s

3.5m still outstanding to be paid back by Aug 31 2021 by which the club will be debt free.
