Maybe so.

Just think he was only decent in a back three at Shrewsbury. Sure their fans may offer a more informed opinion though.
Bit late to this but have to agree. Dunkley was solid in the centre of a back 3. When moved to either side of the 3 or put in a back 4 seemed to be exposed when the ball was played on the floor. Not many would beat him in the air. Would be a very good signing for league 2. Will chip in with goals at the other end too

He looks a good player, but I'm not sure we would make sense for Brown unless Langstaff leaves.

Bring back Ian Burchnall and play Brown and Jatta at wingback I say

Now rumoured to be signing Tyreece John-Jules. Talented lad who was on the fringes of the Arsenal first team but he strikes me as a James Wilson....Talented but can only play a few games at a time before a long term injury. Would be a major risk considering that we've been burnt by perennially injured players before. Get him fit though and I think he'd be very good at this level.

Well, yeah I underplayed it a bit but he does seem to be one of those whose body just isn't up to the rigours of professional football. He's no good being really good for 5 games and then spending 15 games in the treatment room.

James Wilson was far too good for League Two but rarely fit (that said he did play 40 times in the promotion season!)

We had him on loan from Arsenal about 5 years ago but he's made from glass. Ankle, groin, hamstring - you name it, he'll injure it. Obviously he'll have developed since he was with us but I wouldn't say he's even one of those players who's worth looking past his injury record because he's so good.

Oooh, north of 30. Jury's out. Decent player though.

Sam Finley could still do a job in L1. Best game was probably Norwich away this season. He will do very well next season might even score a few worldies like he did for us in L2

Ruari Paton rumoured to be close to joining Vale with a decent bid accepted from Queens Park in Scotland.

48 goals in 2 season, worth a gamble I guess, we haven't done that enough in terms of Scotland/Non League

Yes, as long as the whole team isn't made up of these, then it's a gamble worth taking in my opinion. He's supposedly very good, albeit at a pretty poor standard but Peterborough seem to do OK out of picking up from non league.

I think both Terrel Thomas and Michael Hector should be good in League Two. I like Thomas a lot but he does have a stinker in him and his passing is atrocious. I'm surprised Hector would drop down to League Two. We were awful defensively last season but when he could be bothered you could tell he was a great player, just a shame that only ever seemed to be when his contract was running out!

I’m not.
Our 2nd choice keeper Joe Murphy is 43 in August. Everybody is young compared to him.
He was a quality keeper back in the day , him and Richard Wright were 2 of my favourites alongside Danny Coyne of course
.

I thought Murphy would have gone to the top when he first broke through at Rovers , so it was a suprise to me he spent a good amount of his career lower down and at a small none league like Scunthorpe .

I believe we've spoken to him but I wouldn't fancy our chances of getting him if there's interest from clubs who can offer more in wages.
