Worst season in our history last year and we took 1000 odd. We have often sold out the end at Crewe.
Well done. You're the tenth biggest city in England and not too long out of a 34 season top-flight stint so you should always bring a largish following the 70 or so miles to Crewe.

That cup game was 1994 4th round after we knocked Southampton out. The Lorne Street and Hamil came to 7,500. Wolves had the bycars and Hamil in 2000 but only had 2/300 in the bycars. We decided to give it to them as we were already down and there was a chance they could go up automatic when the decision was made. By the time of the game they could only make the play offs so hardly any more came. Other clubs to fill lorne street and Hamil bringing 7,500 include Man City, Stoke, and Sheffield Wednesday back in 1992.

Crewe have never even filled the Hamil despite only being 13 miles away. :bg:

Fair play to Gillingham fans tonight. More than I thought would be there. Long way home though after a defeat like that.

Gone from 2600 sold to 1500 sold for next tuesday at wigan. 5 away games now before the end of the month

Speaking to those at the club tonight, they say hospitality has gone from 100% full for boxing day to under 50% full for Tuesday. They said over a thousand tickets returned from Sheff United and a large number returned from Wigan "fans".

Still if you bring 1500 plus it will be the best following this season and the first over 1000 all season so far.

I stand corrected. I remember it was near the end of the season and you brought loads. I was getting it mistaken with a year later at home to Blackburn when we beat them 2-0. Was only 10 so got the 2 mixed up for some reason.

Whether you've thrown home advantage or not isn't the point.
What part of very few shaggers go in the Manny road end are you struggling with?
It's a shite end since it went all seater and was abandoned by the vast majority of shaggers years ago for the South Stand that you seem to want us to give up!!

We'd fill it for a big cup game or promotion decider, etc.
Most I've seem us take there is 2,682 in our first season back in the second division for 101 years.

I remember it well. 1998 lost 3-2. All of your games against us are big cup games for you lot ;-)

I remember the match at your place that season was re-arranged because of Diana's death the night before.

We moan about your away capacity now, it was seriously non league back then. 800 in the GRE. Before the big stand was built.

The GRE holds 981 infact.
Our max away allocation of 2300 odd isn't too bad really compared to many others and some Prem grounds only give the visitors around 3,000.
That '98 game I too remember well.We were on a great run of form at that time which lifted us up into midtable after being bottom in early December.
But we beat S**ke 2-0 at the Shitannia and were then on a roll.

Always took more to the Shitania for some reason, filled it once and took 2500-3000 on most visits. 1500 being the least in our last visit for a midweek game.

I was being sarcastic.

To be fair, the amount of Coventry fans outside the ground watching through a gate and those in the home ends probably matched the Crewe support.
There was only around 30 or so when I was outside the ground about 10 minutes into the match. Noticed a few in the home end but you didn't outnumber us.

415 Fleetwood at Oakwell for JPT Northern final. Not bad for them until you consider it was a fiver a ticket.

Officially 2,196 Bradford at Bury.

C'mon Firthy, give us a bite

I don't suppose there'll be an official number of Chesterfield fans at Rochdale. 450-500 probably.
