Well done Barnsley a great achievement considering you were in the bottom 4 in November, Millwall will be gutted but I'm sure if they keep their strike force they'll have another go next season. On a selfish note I'm pleased Barnsley are back, means a short away trip and gives us another local derby.

Wish the other Bradford City fans would stop being such bitter bastards.

Congrats to Barnsley. Unlucky Millwall. Great achievement as noted above.

Nice to see one or two Bradford fans still care. Cannot say I've ever cared about them one way or the other, but there we go.

Congrats to Barnsley on their well-deserved victory. Hamill, Isgrove and Fletcher were impressive even without the goals and that was the difference: Barnsley ironed out the weaknesses in their side with smart loan moves while we insisted on carrying certain players who aren't good enough for where we want to be (Abdou, Martin, Edwards and Taylor I'm sorry to say.)

I don't agree that we were pathetic either. We worked tremendously hard off the ball and limited Barnsley to scraps mostly. Certainly a better performance than either of walsall's in the play-off semis. The problem is that Harris has an obsession with playing route one football in important games and so our better attacking players' best qualities are foregone in favour of workhorses. We also weren't helped by losing 3/4 of our back four but again I don't think that's the reason I'm still not inside the stadium celebrating.

Keep Gregory and add another couple of midfielders and I honesty think we're top 2 next year. Harris will learn from this experience. Big summer ahead.

Oh and Barnsley's support was shit not jut in terms of numbers but noise also, but then I had to get a dig in somewhere didn't I? ;)

Best team won.

Millwall were pretty direct when we played them, and I thought that was how they played today. Barnsley are a better footballing side and deserved it on the day. I also thought their fans were a very decent bunch when we met them at Wembley, and I think the whole cloth cap thing may have stemmed from the build up to our game, when they were accusing us of being students and toffs, and we retorted that they were cap wearing whippet owners. They then turned up at Wembley in the caps and looks like they've carried it on.

Looking forward to the two games against Wall next season..........

All these people we couldn't care less about taking shots at us. What's that all about?

Good season from us, better than expected. Some bigger clubs in the league next year and perhaps the likes of Sheffield Utd and Coventry might wake up, so it'll be tough - but I expect the same or better.

how fucking boring is your life, mate? Literally not a single Millwall fan gives a fuck about Rotherham now that Evans has gone.

He's a strange one. Genuinely gets a kick out of trying to wind people up on the Internet. You should have a great chance of winning the league next year. Charlton and Bolton are more likely to go down again than back up, MK will be up there. We're very thin on numbers so hard to judge us at the minute, Coventry well are just coventry so won't be a threat.

Well done Barnsley.

Would have preferred you to stay down with us but you deserved your win. Don't mind Barnsley and I quite like Rotherham too, pleased they are seeing good times but they're punching above their weight so is unlikely to last.

Don't class either as rivals.

There's only ONE rival for us and I'll still in a fantastic mood watching the arrogants deservedly lose to the Hull Tigers.

When I said pathetic, I was talking purely about the second half.

For a team 2-1 down in a play-off final Millwall didn't really create anything in that second half and seemed happy for Barnsley to do most of the attacking and that continued even after Barnsley scored their third. In the second half Millwall seemed to lose nearly every 50/50 challenge, there was sloppy passing. I just felt their attempts to get back in the game were a little feeble especially as I thought you were slightly the better side in the time between your goal and half time.

Much to do about nothing.

A load of idiots who probably never go to Millwall usually trying to play up to the stereotype.

Those Barnsley fans in that picture taking photos of the Millwall fans do look petrified though.

Kinda odd that SERNWA is trolling given his hilarious signature. Might want to get that changed bud.

The Millwall sympathizers will be out in force tonight, yet again they show themselves up.

Just googled Sheff Wed crowd trouble and got a fair few hits. People in glass houses?

If Millwall can now do the second half of the job in getting a tidy sum for Greggs, then that would be cracking ;)

Go on then - find me and link the video of a bloke being stabbed.

There was one video doing the rounds outside the stadium on Wembley way, bit of handbags and a few bottles thrown - and then the one in the stadium where the fans were running across the top tier....

Been trouble around Wembley on all our trips as I'm sure there has at every game there this is no different it's one of those things that's always gonna happen.

Well done Barnsley, hoped they'd win it. They were fantastic in the semi's, they have the quality, work ethic and belief. Congratulations.

I'm also not entirely sure why I, Jockney, or any other Millwall fan are supposed to feel bad about it. Should we feel guilty over Johnny Depp smacking his missus too?

Nothing against Millwall but I'm absolutely delighted Barnsley have gone up. Lost a good mate in April who was a massive Barnsley fan (passed away in London the night after the JPT final) and I've been cheering them on ever since. Will be raising a glass or two for him tonight.

I like Dave so I'm happy too. Plus Millwall don't want all these bandwagoners they'll get if they play in the 2nd tier now do they?

Was there any trouble for United's Cup semi against Hull back in 2014/15?

I heard of some yes. Always gonna be minor incidents when there's 70,000 + people there.

No idea about the bottle but the stabbings aren't true. Came from a Forest Echo news account.
Yeah, as did the bottle tweet. Bullshit as I said.

Absolutely, bound to get a few idiots amongst 60,000 people (or however many there were there today, haven't seen the official figure) but it just gets put under the microscope because it's Millwall and their reputation goes with them.

Pretty sure that's referring to the fans who ran across the top tier and tried to get to the Barnsley fans.

Such a shame there's always a few Millwall idiots that undermine all the good work that their club does in the community. The people at the club must be so fucked off because they surely must do the most community work in the football league, yet no one ever remembers because of the knuckle draggers they attract on big days out
