It is replicated by some though innit, as demonstrated by the response to Williams going. Wrexham fans in particular have failed the challenge not to spend ages reacting to that big style.

A massive % of fans of every club are far more interested in other clubs than their own. It’s the same from the Premier League down to the National League, anyone that thinks their fan base is any better at not doing that than anyone else’s is deluded.

I think it’s all part of the fun personally (even more so when all parties are aware it’s a zero sum game and none of us ever actually ‘win’) but when it strays into some of these Twitter accounts where it’s literally tens of tweets an hour about another club (NottsCountyZone a great example) it’s obviously very tragic.

It's the other way round here, which is why we'll be fine. Williams was recruited for his style of play, because it was very similar to what we were already playing, and he had minimal involvement in signing players. All done in-house - would be no surprise if we've signed three or four new players before appointing a manager.

Well that's understandable because as the world knows the Chesterfield / Mansfield is pretty special.

When Mansfield got relegated way back in 2008 #stained, I bet the thread about it on our message board wouldn't have lasted more than a week.
