Good game so far, we are riding our luck with some of this playing out but also getting some good opportunities with it.

Good chance we try again in January if he’s yet to sign a new contract. Not the only potentially expensive acquisition we enquired about mind so our interest may go elsewhere.

For all of Notts defensive improvements they still have issues at set plays it seems. Thought they were on top for the 10/15 minutes before that goal, Colclough has livened up Chesterfield.

I made a comment earlier today that Maynard Out is miles away but his insistence of having Sam Austin on the pitch as much as he is, might be a sackable offence in of itself - it’s genuinely like playing with 10 men.

Probably a fair result on balance of play but we’ve got very lucky there. Another disappointing game against a decent side - we’re just not good enough currently and Maynard’s got to work harder to find answers than do the same thing every game and hoping it will just work at some point

I don’t think it’s a penalty for the record but Mandeville has bizarrely got his arm in a weird position so kind of see why it was given (again, wouldn’t have complained if it wasn’t given).
