The wise option was the one he chose. To do otherwise would only invite further argument (unless you expect us to believe the playing and coaching staff at Guisly are different and morally superior to those found at every other football club anywhere in the world) . He's not going to change his mind once he's sent him off and the reason for the card will be in his report after the game.That's all I can think of too. A couple of our players calmly approached Miller on the half time whistle and asked the reason but he just waved them away. Sean St.Ledger then tried to speak to him as they walked off the pitch with the same result. To me that attitude only makes the situation worse. A simple brief explanation with either our captain or manager would surely have been the wise option. Sadly, Miller is so arrogant and self absorbed that I'm sure such a thought never entered his head.
When we saw him warming up pre-match our first topic of conversation was what controversial decision would Miller make this time which would affect the outcome of the game. He didn't disappoint.
