Would love a Tom King mistake here - absolute bellend. Even better leading to a Cowley touchline tantrum.

Which is at the weekend, with a week to sort out bookings. We only knew short notice, had problems with fans getting through to book on Bank holiday Monday and a long midweek trip at short notice is difficult for a lot of people to sort out at. I was lucky to be able to, but not everyone has flexible hours. I know quite a few who just couldn't get time off.

If the away leg had been on Saturday, we'd have taken at least 400+. Like we have to other big weekend games in the past, like Grays in 09-10 for example.
The REAL fans who follow the REAL teams do whatever it takes to be there to support their team.

Grays brought less than 200 to The Shay on a Saturday for their play-off game in 2006, we took 500 to Grays on a Thurday night for the second leg.

They're not even a big club in that league lol.

It's certainly a tough league next year. Salford will be competitive, Fc United of Manchester, Stockport ect.

I think it's halifaxs natural level, which isn't bad for a 8 year history.

Exactly as expected. Braintree keeping it tight at the back and providing a few hairy moments when coming forward. Tait's balls into the box have caused a few problems, but Arnold and Monkhouse aren't really in this as much as we need them to be.

Yeah it's pathetic, crowd getting to this reff.
An advantage that is seemingly a foreign concept to you lot.

Who are grimsbys Cbs? Possibly the worst pairing I have seen, clumsy slow and look so vulnerable against Braintree at the moment

Sssh. Best in the league don't you know?

Not a great match but still a million miles better than last nights. Anyway, it's one of these two to go up I reckon, both look better than FGR and Dover, though I don't think Dover are as poor as they looked last night.

A message for Mr Hurst:

Great to hear those amazing Grimsby fans roaring their side on in adversity. Oh.
