I've almost got bored of laughing at Grimsby.

What the fuck is going on? Braintree?

Come join us!!! Not another southern club

Monkhouse is absolutely diabolical, yet he plays every fucking week. We can't drop him because Hurst didn't sign anybody else. Same goes with Arnold.

Not having that, I'd still have him in our squad this year. Was a bloody good player when played in the right system with the right players around him.

Hurst is taking you lot backwards I'm afraid, still holding out hope you'll win the 2nd leg but surely it's time for him to go? That squad you have should be winning these play-offs

With promotion to the football league at stake, 112 is just abysmal. Sorry but you don't get much bigger games than this in non league.
I was one of the 112. FGR are notorious in getting fans to away games. But does it matter?
Our home crowds are increasing and are better than half of the clubs in Conference.
On return from game we stopped for 15 minutes for a comfort break but still only got back to Gloucestershire at 2am Thursday morning. Leaving Gloucestershire Wednesday midday and getting back home more than 14 hours later is basically two days off work for most fans.
This is not the biggest game for FGR: that will be on Saturday when TNL will have a sell out.

The Dover fans complaining about standing in open during game will know how FGR fans felt last year in play off at Bristol Rovers. But the Dover fans won't have opposition fans giving them verbal grief from on-high in a stand above where they are standing, like what happened to us last year.

I will copy post from the fan who wrote very impressively on trying to purchase food at TNL after a 4 hour car journey and was fobbed off. I'll give it to the FGR management and hopefully something positive will happen for future games for fans who have to travel miles to get to TNL.

No one on here giving us credit for another professional performance from a part time TEAM that give their all each and every time we play.
You all need to get over the BELT hang ups and realise anyone can buy a side, but it takes an exceptional manager to build a TEAM and fortunately for us we have one.

I thought you did an excellent job, so credit from me.

He's so slow and immobile.

As for the squad, should we? Because we've got no decent wingers and we're still weak in the middle. Hursts recruitment in January was woeful.

Nobody has mentioned any of that shit for the entire match? Congratulations on playing slightly worse than us and scoring a dubious penalty, though.

How utterly fucking predictable. I called it somewhere, not sure where. Haven't seen any highlights yet but Braintree seemed to get a lot of injuries... Will have to rely on others for whether it was a penalty or whether we should've had a penalty.

Amond had chances but wasted them. Nathan Arnold should be sent packing after that performance, such a contrast to last year's heroics. Our best performer was Tait, who I still maintain is the best right back in the division.

Shows the complete bunch of nonces the FGR contingent are when there's 3 of them competing in a shittest quip contest. Your attempts at laughing at our support have obviously been quashed by the rest of the forum. Hopefully, when we don't get promoted, you do so we don't have to deal with it next year.

Onto Sunday, I'm doubting that we will score as shown by our shitness this evening. For me, Gowling was terrible so Shaun Pearson back in and stop playing Monkhouse as a fucking target man.

Bitter bitter bitter :p grimsby fans should have their own soap opera, always something to moan about, always an excuse and keep slating other teams on here before looking at themselves :bdick::bdick:

Well done Braintree, great effort and hope the Braintree players enjoy work tomorrow morning when grimsbys professionals are crying at training!!

Fans were good until about 80 minutes.
Feel i have to comment on this from sitting in The Pontoon fans were ok 1st half, and then until braintree scored, then for 15 mins after i heard some of the most disgusting bile and just total utter shite being thrown around i aas embarassed to be GTFC fan at that time.
It only stopped when we had a couple of chances then the noise notched up a bit, and then went back to the same old crap from quite a few dickheads.
Then of course the whole ground booing at the end, these players tried their best they didn't lose on purpose or purposely misplace passes, i left today more pissed off with our supporters than i did the result.
And well done to Braintree, came with a game plan and excecuted it perfectly, Akinola was a real handfull looks to be a real star of the future, and you can see why Braintree's defence is so tight, always chucking a body in the way of everything.

Braintree's. Really rash challenge from Gowling.
Yeah no complaints with that one, as soon as he slid in we all said penalty straight away, didn't know that it was close to the edge of the box it looked well inside from my angle but that was at the other end of the pitch.

To be fair people only really slate FGR, and that's usually only to counteract the massive hubris on show from Chris and Tom Fiddlers Green.

Credit to Braintree. I tipped them as overall winners and they are well on track. If they go up its as big a story as Leicester.

If you fail again this year he has to go. Youll need to dismantle that team as well, at least the more longer serving players.

You need a fresh start.

BT interviewed a board member and he said something along the lines of "It's not even in our minds if he fails this year to sack him"

Sorry but I'm not surprised, we were fucking hopeless. It's so hard to bite your tounge and support the side until the end on nights like tonight because it was absolutely woeful.

You say the players tried their best, I'm sorry but I don't quite agree. No offence to Braintree, they've had a belting season. But at the end of the day they are part time and they've come here and been better than us. I work with part timers in my job, I'm better at my job than them and that's because I do it for a living and so I bloody should be. If I underperformed at work and a part timer out shone me then I'd be hung out to dry, this is no different.

We had the experience, better players, fitter players and a full time 'manager' yet Braintree to their credit were better than us in each department. Our players deserved every single boo at Full Time because they've been backed to the high heavens and it's a disgrace what we've been rewarded with.

Not sure I'll be stepping foot in BP again if we stay down while he's still here.

If it's the board member thinking of, he's a complete fool and doesn't know when to keep quiet. I sincerely hope he isn't kept in the loop by the rest of the board.
