Nope, it's because the majority of your posters on this forum are bellends.

Says you. The prince of bellends (BT2F the king), AND a Halifax fan to boot.:bdick::fl::fl::fl::bdick:

Completely expected game of football. No quality before going behind, throw the kitchen sink at it with even less quality before become completely void of ideas and watching the game limp away from us. It happens every time we play Braintree. Clueless and bottleless.

Embarrassing themselves once again.

Tight match as expected, thought we applied ourselves very well in the first 20mins or so of the 2nd half and Braintree were hanging on. I cringed when Bogle got subbed off so early though. Could see that penalty deciding the entire tie, unfortunately. Still genuinely not sure if that was in the box or not. Disappointed, but not over yet.

Grimsby are still more than capable of winning 2-0 away.

Based on the comments last night I think that means Braintree are up.

Blundell Park is the worst place for us to be in a high pressure game. No patience and as soon as we're on the back foot the boo boys go straight for the throat. Hurst not going for 3rd might have done us more harm than good, the less pressure away leg first would've suited better, but it's impossible to say.

We're far from out of it though. Braintree can grind out an away result but we were once the kings of it. We won't play like that again.

Braintree's game is meant to be effective against the better sides though - they're like a non-league Atletico more often than not, men behind the ball, and counter at the correct moments.

Against sides with a similar style/physical advantage, they may have come unstuck once or twice, such as against us.

They beat us home and away. They weren't amazing either time. Just stuck to their game plan and we played right into their hands at our place. At theirs it was close then they scored a worldie out of the blue. That said we've only beat them once in the last 6 times we've played them.

Great to hear those amazing Grimsby fans roaring their side on in adversity. Oh.

Fans were good until about 80 mins, there's only so much you can do before the distinct lack of effort crushes you into submission.

Thing is, we've had this for years now and it's always the same. Thought we had some decent spells but to be so far away with so much put on a plate for Hurst to succeed is a total embarrassment. He's miles out of his depth.

Monkhouse is absolutely diabolical, yet he plays every fucking week. We can't drop him because Hurst didn't sign anybody else. Same goes with Arnold.

Arnold needs to be on the fucking left, he was one of our best players last season there and has been consistently poor on the right. I never thought I'd say this but right now we are crying out for Marcus Marshall.

Both ties are far from over. I don't see Dover having another poor game even though I'd rather see FGR go through, and the same goes for Grimsby. Yeah, they didn't have a great match but luck wasn't on their side. Still, Hurts needs to come up with a plan b; I'm sure he knows how ineffective those continuous long balls to Amond were.

Hurst hasn't had a plan B for 4 years mate I'm not sure he's going to come up with one in 3 days.
