In rather interesting news

Apparently last transfer window Grimsby had a 50k bid for Freddie Ladapo accepted but he turned them down

Well Weston fucked it up...

Went 1-0 up in the 90th minute, conceded a penalty in the 93rd minute, Bath they scored it, and then they scored a minute later.

*sigh*

Local rivals aswell

2-0 down on 60 minutes and ended up drawing 2-2 is a positive result for us. Over the Easter weekend we've cut the lead to 6 points with 3 games in hand. If you had offered us 4 points from this weekend we'd have bitten your hand off. And that's the same number of points as the other two title contenders combined this weekend

Would probably have settled for a draw pre-game, but with the other results it's a huge missed opportunity.

We need Sutton to lose 2 or 3 while we win all four. Can't see it happening now, unfortunately.

The idiots at Margate never learn
They plan to give the 50k they got for Ladapo to a new manager to spend on players

Sounds like a great idea. The money man has left so lets spend what money we have left on more journeymen

£50,000 is a fantastic sum of money for a player who was laughed at by Harriers fans for being that bad in the Conference. Their new chairman is saying the right things in fairness, but given their location Margate will always have to overpay to attract anyone of a half-decent calibre.

Truro got back to winning ways tonight at Oxford City, winning 2-1. They're currently installing a temporary roof onto one of their open seated stands as a condition of entering the playoffs. Treyew Road looks rather basic but I'm still looking forward to our visit there at the end of the season.

I quite like Treyew Road. Missed the game there this season, but visited in 2012 for an FA Trophy game.

Getting far too close for comfort at the top now. We was always going to have a blip, but it's still disappointing. Just hope things go our way. Don't think I could stomach another play-off loss to a Kent side.

3 games in the next 7 days now, 2 of those against Basingstoke. Anything at Margate is a bonus, but we really need to be focusing on getting 6 points from the two Basingstoke games.

Given the long trip that Margate have to make and their bad run of form, Weston should be looking to win today. Those Basingstoke matches will define your/their season, they're clearly not a bad side Basingstoke and will be rejuvenated with Terry Brown in the dugout.

Truro's game at home to Whitehawk has been called off. The visitors had spent 8 and a half hours travelling yesterday only for that. Ouch!

^^ couldn't have happened to a nicer club.

Confident on our game today. Not confident on Sutton dropping points though. Maidstone could find it tricky.

What a win. Shame the others didn't lose. This is going down to the last game.

Darren Purse is still a prick.

2-1 win over Eastbourne will do nicely. Especially because we had to graft for it. 20 unbeaten now, and I'm dreaming

Wealdstone 3-2 Havant and Waterlooville (Att: 646)

Terrible first hour, non-descript first half and Havant deservedly scored twice within 2 minutes to lead 2-0 with some 25-30 minutes to go. I'll give Bartlett some credit here, he quickly brought on Nathan Mavilla and James Demetriou and they changed the dynamic of the game. Jefferson Louis would bundle over our first from a lovely Scott Davies free kick. Demetriou equalised with a sublime finish when put through 1-on-1 and Jonny Wright would dramatically tap in the winner after Havant's keeper has superbly prevented an own goal.

Another 3 points and we'll definitely be safe. Into the top half of the table now!

A good 1-0 win at Margate puts us 1 point from safety with two games in hand. Next two games are against bottom of the table Basingstoke so if we get 9 from a possible 9 from the end of those 3 fixtures then we should be ok

I wasnt at the game and Gods sake I'm glad I'm on holiday in Cornwall anyway cos I did plan on going to this game until the last minute plan to come here...

I honestly didn't expect a point against Ebbsfleet to be honest...but I didn't exactly think it'd end in a 5-0 loss!

Do the players actually know that we're in a relegation battle here..we should be fighting for results not getting demolished .

10 goals conceded in 2 games is fucking ridiculous.

Will be keeping an eye on Weston-super-mare on Tuesday night. But they can win if they like we deserve to be in the bottom 3. I've said a few times now but I'm braced for relegation. We're games ahead of everyone around us and 1 point of the drop...surely...someone just put us out our misery!!!

Hayes fan I know stuck a quid on us to win 5-0 at 40s. Should have been break and stuck more on it!

Utterly ridiculous that had Jonathan North not been sidelined for 3 months, we'd be well and truly in the playoff mix. No team can consistently put a run of form together. How many other leagues are there where a side in the top half could still conceivably be relegated with 6 games to go?

Hemel at home tomorrow night, given the locality, their free coach the Tudors Supporters Club have put on and their playoff ambitions, we may well see a decent away following.

Wealdstone 0-0 Hemel Hempstead (Att: 753)

Decent game as far as 0-0 games go. Hemel had bucket loads of possession and had us penned back pretty bad in the last 10 minutes but some resolute defending and goalkeeping saw us home.

Josh Urquhart missed a sitter for us in the first half. Much like Danny Simpson's miss yesterday, came in at the far post and had a wide open half of the goal only for it to go the other side allowing Jamie Butler to get a fingertip on the shot.

How far are you above safety? I've not even paid much attention to be honest. Hayes will go down if they carry on like they have been. Awful.

Maidstone v Sutton tonight. Absolutely massive game. A draw is the best result although if either were to win I think I'd just about prefer Maidstone. Ugh.

Might go down and watch the Maidstone game tonight seeing as it's a big one, would like a draw as my allegiance is with Ebbsfleet over Maidstone!

Excited for the game tonight, although I've literally had to lift myself off of my sickbed for this. I may die, but I think we have enough about us

Good man. I'd pop down myself if I didn't have to be up at 4 in the morning.

7 points above with a better GD. We'd have to monumentally fuck it up now to go down.

Massive win for Sutton tonight. As I said a page or two back after our home defeat vs. them, they are the best team I've seen us play this season.

Edit: Over 3,000 at the Gallagher too. *thumbs up*

We lost to the champions elect. Best team i seen us play all season....they were absolute class.

Everything about Sutton was miles a head of us

Fitter, quicker, stronger & better quality then us. Heck even with ten men Sutton still looked the better team. Reminded me of the Ebbsfleet home game, men against boys

Heck the only time we really threatened them was from Flishers missile throws...other then that Sutton didnt need to worry
