I remember the time they brought 800 in the Championship. Don't mind the Blades though to be fair. Their fans don't suffer from the same delusions of grandeur like Wednesday.

I wouldn’t insult them by mentioning that lot from the sty

It was 1100 odd, great day out at the races beforehand, 5.30 on bbc the match I think Billy sharp scored and celebrated like a nob, was a bad year for our away support that season, think it was the relegation season. However I've only slagged some weird blokes with rattles and one with a gnome not your away following and some are getting reyt offended by it.

I meant the hundreds who waited outside to laugh us off, imagine going through in that amazing way and then decide to spend your time harassing police and laughing at the fans who’s club very nearly crushed your dreams

Genuinely odd

They did a similar thing to us after we got a draw there in February playing with 10 men for most of the game, a large group waiting just near the entrance to the train station behind a line of police. Very odd as you say.

He hasn’t been to a game since 2014, he wouldn’t have enough loyalty points anyway the prick.

Decent London trip vs Newcastle piss up.

No issues with either of these coming up.

A Blades fan talking about other teams support, you lot only turn up when you are winning and are probably the quietest fans that have ever been at Donny.
Blades are amongst the best fans in the Championship I'm not really sure what you're on about.

I watched the game and the scenes looked dreadful, appreciate they probably weren't for you but lots of those around you were celebrating less than you've probably celebrated consolation goals this season.

Yes we have loads of grown men with fucking gnomes and rattles at away games, really normal behaviour.
I've been sat here in stitches at you calling them "knomes".

I remember we played Bradford on the opening day in 2013 and they brought quite a few down and there was a bloke with one of those rattles doing it up against the segregation barrier and getting loads of shit for it for about an hour after they equalised. We went 2-1 up and everyone surged towards him and he disappeared, then when they scored a late equaliser and he reappeared with it.

Must be a Yorkshire thing.

My spelling can be a tad ropey :)

Guess Sunderland have sold out - what about Charlton?

Must be pretty close...

Just seen that - guess they cannot afford another Wembley trip and trains probably tricky on a Sunday.

Good luck to Sunderland on Saturday .

Less far to travel for an away day & last 2 seasons we've taken 4 points off Charlton , think if Charlton do lose Taylor & Aribo ( think he's called ) will be flogged by the Belgium's to play at higher level.

If we don’t go up, we’ll lose almost the entire squad and most likely the manager.

Fuck me, this is the biggest game I’ve ever seen us play in all things considered.

First time I've watched it since the actual day. Must admit I'd forgotten that the pens went to 7!

I’m going to go for the same result as 1998 but without 6 of the 8 goals this time.

Charlton to win (although I’d prefer Sunderland as we’ve £150k riding on Charlie Wyke’s promotion clause). Not a fan of sides getting criticised for ‘only’ taking so many having already been to Wembley a few weeks before, it costs a fortune, part timers have already been and from the north east it’s not exactly a short trip.
Along those lines, don’t underestimate the experience of playing there so recently, happened to us in 2013 after the League cup final - takes out all the novelty and distraction of being at ‘the home of football’ and for us at least focuses you massively on just the game.

Hopefully a better spectacle than the League Two final yesterday, fancy Charlton in a 2-0 victory.
