Pre season friendlies 17/18

Yeovil 1 - City 3.
Booby Reid x2 and Hordur Magnussen put City into a 3 nil half time lead before a raft of substitutions. Yeovil got one back near the end.
Diedhou made his first friendly start for us.
Off to Tenerife for our boys.

KV Kortrijk 1 - 0 Reading
Genclerbirligi 2 - 2 Reading (Popa, Beerens)

Good to get so many players 90 minutes of football. Two games played in what looked like glorified parks.. as Stam seems to like judging by last pre-season too. Looks like our only pre-season game at an actual stadium is when we play Vitesse in Wycombe.

Also played in a new kit, just for pre-season.. as our reveal is not until next Saturday. Shame, as it looked great for a possible away kit.

Our pitch was relaid this Summer, so they want to give it as much time as possible.

That and Adams Park is where our U23s and Womens teams play, and is big enough to fit all of the fans who would want to go.

Back from benalmedena today 24 hours later than planned, what an absolutely superb trip, 750 blades over there , a hell of a lot staying in benalmedena. If only we ever played in Europe it would just be absolutely immense. Played very well too which was good to see.

Yes he played about an hour if I remember rightly. He looked fine , I was bladdered so can't really say no more than that.

Yep top trip, the ground really is what's classed as the middle of nowhere. Luckily we managed to get a lift off a random blade who was driving or we might still be walking back now.

Next up for us is chesterfield away tommorrow night, I can safely say I'll be giving that a miss despite it only being about 15 minutes away for me. Rotherham away on Friday sounds like a good excuse for a few jars in Rotherham on Friday night, won't be going in the ground though.
