1-1 v the mighty Kings Lynn Town. That's probably lost us the TFF pre season Championship. Manning out.

Beat a very strong Hertha Berlin 1-0 at home. A great first half performance. Second half was marred with changes, but good to see some of the young players put on a good show.

£25 on before the game for £100 return on the Derby win, didn’t go amiss too!

4-1 defeat to Watford.

TBH sounded like you had a few chances and one of our goals was a penalty plus another in injury time .

So might have flattered us .

2-1 defeat to Cardiff. A dubious winner apparently (I wasn't there, going on what a non-Cheltenham supporting friend has told me).

Oh well, decent mins in the legs.

give your head a shake.....put the fishing rod down
Its pre season we got beat off you 5 days after beating Watford 2-0 neither will have any relevance to the season ahead.
Enjoy your season and you never know you may not lose a 20 point lead and games in hand to a team after Christmas again

I noted that Ipswich and Plymouth are the only teams with friendlies next Tuesday - are these likely to be first team games at all, or will I be able to announce a Champion next Monday?

Looks like it's probably between Derby & Peterborough. The key game being Derby's clash with Leicester. Don't win that and it opens the door for Posh. Oxford will need to beat West Brom to stay in with a chance, which is a tougher ask. A big week coming up.

I knew there was a reason we were mainly playing non league sides this pre season. OK, we lost to Tiverton but...

We were meant to have been playing West ham u23s next Tuesday afternoon but it's been cancelled and we're having an open training session instead.
Part of the club open day.
