Any Scunny fans coming to Alfreton on Tuesday night?
I am the only scunny fan on here and I'm not, personally would never travel for a friendly. We will probs have a few there though.

Looking strong for promotion, another double header Vs Bala and Whitchurch on Tuesday, then two trips to Wales Vs Wrexham and Colwyn Bay to finish off.

We are in Scotland at a training camp for the week before finishing off against Bury Saturday... not sure what kind of test Bury will offer up though? Have they even got any players currently?

Si Robin; Crawley have played three friendlies but we've lost them all.

Swansea and Brighton at home and Horsham away.

Were getting used to the results for the upcoming season.

For some reason I read it as a 3-1 victory against Horsham. My apologies - I have now updated.

That moves us out of the relegation zone as well!!!

18 year old Mattie Pollock started and played well v Donny, in what I suspect is close to the lineup that will start vs Morecambe...

McKeown
Hendrie--Ohman--Pollock--Ring
Clifton--Whitehouse--Hessenthaler
Ogbu
Green--Hanson

Taunton 7 - Cheltenham 0 (last night)
St Neots 6 - Cambridge 0 (today)

Our squad is in Scotland* so I can only assume we played our u/12's or something. And the Robins had Leicester today so I can only assume their side was also made up entirely of 12 and 13 year olds.

*and smashed Hearts 3-2 so there Agombar stool ;)

Good result, was it a proper hearts side or the kids?

We're playing Barton Town tonight too, but I reckon it'll be the kids in that one and the first team at Scarborough.

Si Robin, we (Oldham) have Ashton Utd away tonight.

We've also pre-empted Bolton cancelling our friendly on Saturday, or turning up with a youth side, by cancelling it ourselves, and replaced it with a home game against Stockport.

We have Marine (presume it will be a youth team) on Thursday and finish off with Stanley at home (our only home friendly) on Saturday. A glamourous preseason.

Couldn't see anything about Ashton on Twitter or your website, so I'll add it from your word.

I've already noted the Stockport game though, cheers.

I noticed that Bradford got beat by Bolton today.

Didn’t realise Bolton had 11 players.

We fielded a team full of trialists and youth - but Donaldson did play by all accounts. Arranged at the last min to help the old gaffer, Phil Parkinson out.

Someone on our forum put that, but someone from the Bolton end put they wasn't sure he was. So god knows, we'll know tonight as we've got a proper pre season game tonight.

I reckon your team is going to be well short on match fitness. Seems like every team you play has 11 trialists :err:

My thoughts too.

Vaughan and Donaldson played against Bolton, but we have Park Ave tonight and Rochdale at the weekend.

Even so, it still seems like we haven’t played enough minutes.

Tranmere at home for us tonight.

I’d hoped we’d have a new player by now but as predictable as the tide, nope, our penultimate friendly and still hardly any players, no subs to bring on and no strikers. Woefully inept preparation for the season from a so called professional club.

Giving this one a miss. I’m not giving up my evening to watch another game featuring a trialist central defender up front.

Fuck that.

Worth going for the novelty of it being warm enough to eat a calippo in the paddock

Sounds like Tranmere have put a strong team out. We've named the same starting line up as faced Fleetwood, which means still no Hope

Tranny dominating so far, and have hit the bar. They're quite a big physical team and you can really see how small we are. We really don't seem to have put together a performance this preseason anything as good as that first one against Hibs.
