Decent win at Yeovil, considering we had so many teenagers on the pitch in the second half. Ohanaka looks like a huge talent - probably won’t be first team ready for a year or so, but definitely a big player for the future.

Great to see Cole and Aitchison back tonight. Our starting lineup looked pretty strong to be fair.

Harry Kite scored twice as a trialist at Stamford in a 4 - 2 win last night.

Se says he has to prove he is better than what we already have.

Is he worth a spot?

Well, it’s highly unlikely that Kite is better than what you already have. He’d be a solid squad player I guess but in reality he’s a lower end L1 player at best.

I always felt that our fans made him out to be better than he was purely because he’s an academy product. Maybe I’m being harsh and will happily eat my words.

A very impressive performance in a 1-1 draw against a strong Crystal Palace side, probably the strongest they could have played without their Euros stars. Team seemed well organised and the play style seems to be taking shape nicely. Tarnished by conceding a last minute equaliser after Rak Sakyi sat down two of our defenders but I love Rak Sakyi so we will let him off

Stranger things have happened (Jack Sparkes) but I reckon he might be a squad player

The dream of the Invincibles season is still alive as we allegedly fall 2-0 to Arsenal, but it was behind closed doors so no-one can prove it ever happened #HMSunbeatableorient

FFS we drew 2-2 with Col U, that means we're only L2 standard, and the arse end of L2 at that.

Lump on for our relegation right now. Season over.

Drew 1 - 1 at Spalding, a mixture of youth and first team in both halves.
Again missed loads of chances, so a lot to work on at Alfreton on Tuesday before playing Sheff Utd next Saturday.

Lost 3-0 at Boro.

0-0 after 65 minutes. Changed the side putting 7/8 academy lads on, quite literally men versus boys after that.

Beat East Grinstead 0-2. Five miles down the road so I popped along. Hard to be sure as they are a lot lower than us and how Lindsey wanted the game to go but we will struggle with the squad with have now.

Flint looks a good left footed central defender and Mullarkey looks a straight replacement for Wright on the right side of a three so we're sorted for defenders.

What we are really missing is a decent forward. I know every team would like to improve their forwards but it is so obvious we lack presence up top we really need someone.

0-0 at Oldham, a young side until the 60 minute mark then a few first teamers on.

Quite a few missing from the squad.

Early days but it feels like we’re in a solid position tbh. Competition throughout the squad, with quality across pitch, but no real standouts. Still would like a more recognised striker though with pace

Drew 1-1 with Bournemouth in the first of our North American tour. A decent run out and promising performance against a reasonably strong Bournemouth team.New signings looked decent but just highlighted how we look a little short up front while Mullin is out.

Lee left out of squad as a precaution but pretty much everyone else got a runout

And our new training kit will be a collectors item for sure!

Stags beat Hucknall Town (step5) 6-0 yesterday, again all different scorers.

Like last season, this team can score goals from all over the pitch.

Col U were so impressive against us a few months ago that were bought a couple of their players. Certainly doubt they'd be relegation fodder

Disappointing, their recent bouts of being utter wank for the majority of the season and then scraping clear of relegation at the last minute have been quite entertaining.

Beat Shrewsbury 0-2 at the Meadow on Saturday, nice run out for the squad much changed 11 second half that showed our lack of depth and why we need to bring in the players that we do, we have talented youngsters but its too soon for the majority.

Good luck to Shrewsbury till we meet again a lot this season haha

The Millers had a comfortable 3 - 0 win at Alfreton.
Apart from Raggett who got 65 minutes it was two separate teams for the first and second halves. (scorers Trialist, .Odoffin, Powell).

Still no sign of JCH last night, but he is back training and might get a few minutes against Sheffield United on Saturday.

Crawley lost 1-0 at Wealdstone. I didn't brave the m25 in rush hour for a friendly but Scott Lindsey gave two worrying quotes after the game.

1. We are a long way from where we should be in the final 3rd.
2. We are short on overall numbers.

I don't care about losing friendlies but the team has to be trying it's shapes etc out. 6 trialists in the second half says we need to recruit fast and no goals says the first statement is true.

Worried of Crawley.

Beat Chelsea u21 2-1 somewhere in Portugal yesterday. Only thing I’m bothered about now in pre-season is avoiding anymore injuries.

We have Chelsea in the early hours tomorrow (still on Wednesday for the US), with Maresca's first game in charge. We played Chelsea in Poch's first game, look how that ended for him, wonder if we'll have the same effect.

Beat Walsall 2-1 in a behind closed doors friendly yesterday afternoon, Makama and Bayliss with the goals.

Apparently another midweek behind closed doors game against Norwich next week after Harrogate on Saturday.

Cheer up this time last year you was getting ready for your last season in the league.
Today at the very worse you will be back in league 2 again this time next year.

That's exactly why I prefer league 1. A shit season here and we can recover. A shit season in league 2 and we will never be back (we just don't have the funds) unless Hartlepool and Rochdale help us out again by being even shitter.

I really think you will struggle this season, would have been a tall order with your promotion team

Only saving grace is Lindsey

Our friendly with Oxford finished 1-0. We even took the piss by playing coach David Perkins for the final 15 minutes.
