Our friendly with Oxford finished 1-0. We even took the piss by playing coach David Perkins for the final 15 minutes.
Yeah, we need stronger opposition to be honest.

For some reason I've decided to get up to watch us play Chelsea. Not a bad showing first half. Currently one nil down against a pretty strong Chelsea team a decent workout and lots of defensive practice against the likes of Nkunku.

A half empty Levi stadium in Santa Clara, seemingly even the Americans baulked at the 200 dollar tickets.

Finished 2-2. Really encouraged by how we've handled ourselves defensively in these games against top level opponents.

Chelsea looked all over the place in the second half. I'd be a bit worried if I was them, put it down to travel fatigue maybe!

I don’t think you can read too much into results or performances in pre-season.

We beat Chelsea 2-1 in Portugal on Tuesday, so were Wrexham playing Chelsea reserves.

Nothing wrong with posting the result but he suggested Chelsea fans should be worried.

I can expand on what I meant.

Maresca had them playing in a way that just didn't seem to suit any of their players. Granted it's their first pre season friendly and there is plenty of time to sort stuff out, it's not very encouraging that they looked so poor against a League one side. Last year they looked far better when we played them.

I'm not new to football, I know exactly how much should be read into pre season friendlies.

Drew 0-0 away at Spanish 4th Division side Torremolinos, Ethan Galbraith sent off for reacting to a poor tackle, which also resulted in a red card for the Torremolinos player.

Don't play again until next Tuesday now when we play Spurs U21s at Dagenham & Redbridge before concluding our pre season at the same ground on Saturday against the Daggers.

If we're reading into the importance of pre season friendlies, playing fucking Torremolinos is a new level.

Not even pretending the warm weather is why they're out there.

Crazy how quickly Davies has seemingly implemented a style and way of playing. Some of us were genuinely shocked how good we looked, caveat being 'its only pre season'

Teams are out for tonight’s game against Fiorentina.

Italian’s playing their first team so it’ll be a good test.

Was split between going tonight and the races at york........Ended up doing neither.
We have 7 out injured yet again including two we signed injured. Two because they came back early from injuries last season.
Weak bench and a kid at lwb...........We are running out of time to sort this shit out from Wembley
I have no confidence in Evatt i am afraid

Drew 1-1, we more than held our own.

Not often I can say it was worth going to a friendly but enjoyed I enjoyed tonight.

A youthful team beat Braintree 3-0 last night.
Another team take on Ebbsfleet today.

Go there for a music festival. Stay at La Pez and get bladdered. No memories of the bands ...ever!

We have Crystal Palace at 12.30.

It will not be a strong team as lots of players in euros and copa America plus they are flying out to America tonight.

Our 6 game unbeaten run comes to an end at Bristol City. 2-1 though Magennis has now scored three for the (pre) season

I just watched the shittiest defending I have ever seen. Crawley v Palace ended 3-7. We were 2 down after 3 minutes! Both times because we passed the ball to. Palace forward. I think, if the game was played by two teams defending properly it would have been 1-3.

Look up Danish international Anderson falling over in front of his own goal to give our forward an empty net to roll the ball into.

4-0 win at Harrogate - Duffy, Roughan, Draper and Street.

Straightforward really, I'm not sure they had a corner or shot on target tbh.

Salop 2-1 Derby County (O’Reilly & Bloxham)

Derby still haven’t beat us in all competitions since 1995, quite remarkable. Apparently Tommi O’Reilly is one serious player, can’t wait to see how he gets on this season.

Beat vale 2-0.
Billy Boden scored on his debut.
We played well and it’s encouraging so far although I read nothing into the result.
