Do you read what you're writing? :fl: If you think players want to join Eastleigh for any reason but money you're completely delusional. Then again, you've probably been following Eastleigh for 6 months or so so I'll excuse your complete lack of knowledge.

Lol you really are cluelsss Cardy.
Maybe you should ask your best player why he has had his agent send his CV into EFC and has been asking a few of our players that he knows to have a private word with the manager.
To the other clueless Woking fella, yes we sent Yemi on loan to you because he was only getting about 5mins pitch time every 3rd game. Just wasnt good enough for us, but i'm glad he's doing well for you, hes a smashing lad. However, as stated, your best player will be an EFC player next season & you can have Yemi, who seems to start most games on the bench for you aswell. Those 2 deals alone, tells you all you need to know about the difference between what is going on at EFC and the goings on at Woking & where each club are heading, or at least trying to head.

Final day is much like local derbies when the form book goes out of the window™

I'm looking forward to the Filtering Through™ of results from elsewhere.

Funniest thing about this post is that Eastleigh Fan and Sparrow are so alike, yet neither of you realise it!!!!

He's started one game on the bench, when he first joined. You're even more clueless than I thought.

You have to remember that we've Dropped Like A Stone to mid-table, just like everyone said we would. :fl::woo:

They've got a couple that would get in your team from what I've seen.
Right now I wouldn't swap any one of our team for any player in another team. I didn't expect play-offs and they have managed our to given us our best season in years. To go though that tough run of games after Xmas and come out the other side still with a shout of top spot was a fantastic achievement and I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking our chance had gone.
As someone mentioned on our forum the majority of these players have been either brought through or youth system, are local or have been with us for over 2 years which compared to the previous seasons when each year was a new squad it's made a refreshing change.

Just remember, the capitalisation of that phrase is very important and gives it more emphasis.

Local players playing for a non league team. This is groundbreaking stuff. Hats off to Barnet FC for not buying in foreign talent from Europe's big leagues.

You saw our team when we had the might of the ace Israeli shot-stopper Ran Kadoch and the talented French central defender Jeremy de Magahaes in our line-up and er... Cliff Akurang up front didn't you? We made you look like world-beaters at the Deva that season.

You think that because you are non-league, only players from the immediate surrounding areas will play for that team?

Last season we had three Spaniards, 2 Dutch (including Davids), and an Irishman in our squad. We've constantly had an array of players from around the British Isles playing for us. It's especially pertinent this year as we agreed to release Dan Bradley as he didn't want to relocate.

You may have only used local players as you were part time but I'm used to most of our squad having funny accents and disappearing elsewhere every summer. The most northern player I can think of now is from Welwyn Garden City and I hope whatever happens it stays that way and we continue to develop our home grown talent.

To be fair to ShrewBlue, I think they're a decent poster, so I doubt that are trying to troll here. Just got it wrong with us, which is fair enough.

Just read the Eastleigh comments. If its all about money for them then its no wonder they have Constable and are able to attract players. Also not a wonder they are hated. Only reason I wanted them up is because I want a different team in the FL, but that's just me.

Really think Barnet win this weekend and we draw, which will wrap up the title for them due to goal difference. We'll have virtually sold out the Mem on the last day of the season for absolutely no reason in that case :ffs:

True, and a probable sell out at the Mem for a playoff game, but still, I'd take auto's over that money anydays. Especially seeing as I think whoever finishes second might struggle in the playoffs.

Personally, I think you're too strong and will buck that trend if you finish second and definitely make the final, too good over two legs.

The final obviously is a big throw of the dice but I'd think you're more likely to come through the play offs than Barnet would be.
