You really have. It's very odd behaviour. Pompey fan, top of the league yet all you post about is Vale.
Odd one, its not like we've played them often as we swapped places between L1 and L2 until a couple of seasons back, think it was 2000 before last season (recall Ville Viljanen scoring a stunner against them in the 2nd tier as we headed down).

Fleetwood keep ticking over, which isn't a bad thing per se but with playing one or two more than those around them, they need wins now.

GD is much of a much between Burton to Vale as well.

I remember that game well. Beat them 2 nil. Had a lot of respect for Pompey fans after that match, we were shocking that season, beat them on the day yet at full time their fans were still bouncing around singing. Unreal support. They were lively off the pitch that day too.

This lad though has got a real hatred for Vale now, based on words he's read on a screen that people have typed on a keyboard. Shame really, not nice seeing someone getting themselves so irritated over words. Maybe when he grows up he'll be embarrassed about some of the stuff he puts on here. Emphasis on maybe.

If people hate us they hate us, I dislike certain teams sometimes irrationally (i like some teams to do well irrationally maybe too!) but don't need to waffle on about it to their fans, certainly don't judge Pompey on one fan, or Exeter on DevonLad for instance, on that pitch last game of the season in 22 at full time I was shaking hands with their fans and they were salt of the earth for example that I came across!

If he hates us fair enough but don't need to hear it after every post or see the use of some of the things he says in response to a couple of our posters, at this level we all follow the same type of clubs and suffer the same ups and downs regardless of who we support so respect each poster regardless of how your club is doing at the time as football is quickly cyclical.

Your absolutely right mate, the draws could prove very costly down the line. Quite philosophical about the situation...

Saw the game on I follow last night. Thought it was'nt a bad game considering the conditions. But noticed a difference in your team compared to the match in Bristol. Don't think you had the fight like you did then . Rovers were slightly the better team last night but not much in it. With the players you have you should really stay up when you compare your team to the likes of Cambridge, Cheltenham, Vale, Carlisle & Shrewsbury.

I agree. It doesn't seem fair considering they were and still are, funded by crime. Should never have been allowed to sign anyone of any calibre in my book yet some of their players were running rings round ours the other week. Same goes for Reading.

Not the fans fault of course, but we were almost certainly in for Sam Smith in the summer, he was offered more money at Reading and now they're desperately trying to sell their training ground to get through. When you see some of the pub players we have to throw on at this level, it kind of irks you when others aren't playing by the same rules.

It stinks that a convicted fraudster is ' still running the club ' How the EFL are still allowing this to happen is an insult to all fans. I think there will still be a day of reckoning, parallels with Oyston down the road. We now have the crook's 2 children as directors in the club. Still take solace from the fact he's being bars for a good few years and when he comes out he will be past his prime

I feel bad for you because you always come across as a very level headed guy. It's madness that his kids have taken over, presumably using the same ill gotten gains.

Don't get me wrong, our relegation will be our fault for a number of reasons, but you can't help but feel that there are other clubs in league one that feel that the rules don't apply to them and will get caught out eventually, it'll be too late for us by then though.

I don't give a fiddlers about PV. They are nothing. I just can't stand the drivel that most of the PV posters post.

It’s us, Cambridge and reading I feel that can be caught. Shrewsbury will be fine.
Cheltenham look the most likely to mount a fight for staying up. Below that is difficult I would think but not impossible especially given we play vale next.
In honesty 6 should get relegated as I feel we have been fucking awful all season and are a club in decline. The fans haven given up as have the players.

Think Reading will be fine unless they get another points deduction, which I think is unlikely as the EFL seem to be trying to be as lenient as they can with them.

Fleetwood have found some fight, and picking up points. A decent result against Cheltenham and I think they might get to safety. Because of the shower of shite that's above them, Vale still aren't completely down and out either.

Despite being in a better position than we were this time last year, we seem pretty doomed. We've got a bit of a break now between games, so we have to hope that we can reset and refresh.

We'd have to win 5 out of 9 games, we've won 3 in I think 29 games. It's not going to happen....we looked so far off an inconsistent Oxford team it was like a non league side playing a Premier league team at times. We're currently on our worst home run in our 150 year history. In my 35 years of watching Vale, this is not the worst side talent wise, but application wise and commitment wise it's comfortably the worst.

Looking like one from three for the final relegation place.

I'm struggling to see Reading (unless further deductions) or Shrewsbury being dragged into it now and Fleetwood are probably going to need to win 3 or 4 of their remaining 7 to give themselves half a chance.

I know we are definitely safe now.
I mean, you are asking the likes of Burton to get 8 more points than us. And they are so poor they can't beat us with ten men.
But with games against Vale and Cheltenham still to come we could have a big say in who stays up.

If you could win on Good Friday and be on the beach on Easter Monday that would be great, cheers

Burton have a kinder run it so if they beat us they'll be about there I'd think.

Cambridge also have us mind so Cheltenham and Fleetwood may as well be a further three points behind those two already!

I honestly think Burton and Cambridge will go down. They're both atrocious. Cambridge have had too much upheaval throughout the season. Burton's fans have given up and they're just on the slide. Awful managerial appointment too.

The problem we have is that we're back to not looking like scoring. With Matty Taylor out for at least a month now, we have a strike-force that has two goals all season (both of which came in the same game).

I'm still confident we can get out of it, but Fleetwood away is must-win. If we can get to within a point or two of Burton before we play them then I make us faves to get out of it. We've just got to get back to winning ways (stating the bleeding obvious of course).

Probably needs us to beat either, oddly I suppose those two games mean we still have a small chance which is bonkers with 3 wins in 30. We should be mathematically dead and buried.

Hopefully he is fit for 13th April. Probably the last time we will ever get to give him his well deserved abuse

Which proves how bad everyone is down there. We should be already relegated by now!

Nothing will be greater than seeing him score the winner in that game.

I don't even care about Bristol Rovers, there's just something beautiful about a player getting dog's abuse scoring a goal against the team giving it to him.

I still think Shrewsbury and Burton are very poor yet at least one of those will stay up. You'll probably beat us next month, you always raise your game against us when you need to!

Well deserved though he totally f***ed us over that season leaving so close to the end of the window, and to 'them' of all people. Then joined in with the jibes from City to Rovers after and the snake GIF on twitter. We were looking good for play offs too while they were struggling.
I see he is still at it moving from FGR to Cheltenham

Swindon to Oxford as well wasn't it?

Oxford fans were complimentary of him.

Funnily enough, we had him on trial before he ended up going to FGR and then yourselves. He played in a reserve game and did ok but the team were horrific and he was never called back.
