Starting to see more and more of our supporters now wishing us to lose just to hurry Slade along in getting the sack so this could be a very bizarre scenario on Saturday when pantomime villains Cheltenham Town come to town, maybe a Danny Wright and Harry Pell double could actually get cheers from the home support!

Wright's banned - Pell's shite this season.

I think Pell could play blindfolded and on one leg and he'd still find a way to score against us, it's the law.

Not 1 single team i want relegated from league 2 but who knows a team may get a stay of execution if sutton or anyone with a 3g pitch is refused promotion

Wouldn't they just be excluded from the play offs? (Assuming Macc Town finish the job automatically)

Quite a big assumption given that after games in hand there could be three teams within a point of them!

Given our history of shithousing league safety through re-election (around 15 times), it would actually be quite funny to do it all over again in 2018.

Losing 3-0 at Yeovil, having two sent off and players having a 'go' at each other hasn't helped our chances too much. Cheltenham on Saturday is now even more important.

Don't worry, if ever a team needed a leg up, you can always count on Cheltenham to be generous.

Form really does go out of the window when it comes to us.

Not that they'll win but a FG draw or win would be excellent for both reasons :)

Slade's obviously a problem, but Fenty's your bigger and biggest problem (as you all know anyway), but he's got you by the knackers.

If Sutton or Bromley are promoted I believe they're both going to rip up their 3G pitches and put the grass back in as far as I'm aware.

My mate knows a few Bromley fans, who've said that if they got promoted it would be financial suicide for them not to relay grass and get promoted should they get promotion.

Suttons manager has said he has spoken to Football League about what would happen to Sutton and that they have a plan place.

Don't they have to have decided what they're doing by the end of March of so though?

I'm 95% sure both clubs should they end up getting promoted, will agree to relay their pitches back to grass.

But they have to before the end of March as far as I'm aware, so they'd have to decide before they knew whether they'd be promoted.

I'll be honest and suggest I can't be completely sure about it, but when we were promoted we had to have signed certain things off by then, and Darlington couldn't be promoted from the conference north as they hadn't had plans for 500 or so seats in place before said date

We're on record as saying we'll take promotion. If we don't it's an automatic relegation to the National League South. In regards to the pitch we're exploring every possible avenue

Wouldn't mind seeing Sutton get promotion. What do you think guys? I'm sure most of you will want the ex league sides like Tranny and Wrexham come up, but if they don't then Sutton look a better proposition than say Dover or Bromley.

Would just like to add how refreshing it is to see Grimsby back their manager after a difficult spell.

They've had plenty of ins and outs in the last few years and the board obviously feel stability is the way to keep the Mariners in the league, which would have to be considered a succesful season.

I personally think Russell is the man to take them forward, they need 5 wins to stay up...over to you Russ!

Our League Two Brothers, Macclesfield. They generally follow wherever we go.

Wrexham have more than served their time, be nice if Dean Keates was the one to get them up as well.

Would like a proper non league side to come up for a banter season or two. Sutton, Bromley, etc.

Not Dover. Never Dover.

True it would be nice to have Sutton promoted.

It's a bit grim for the proper one is only 2 miles from Mansfield.
