He made sure he got well away from Tamplin sharpish!
Saying that this is the worst Grimsby team he’s ever seen? What's Garry Hill up to?

Feel for him, honestly don't know what more he could've done. You're punching above your weight with your playing budget and not many players will go to Braintree unless they're local to the Essex/North London area as the town is a bit awkward to get to.Our manager Brad Quinton resigned after our game with Eastleigh today. Although we are bottom of the league he has done well with very limited resources and I cant for the life of me think who would want the job.
A risky move for Hess. But the money will be gone by the end of the season at Eastleigh and all their big earners will walk away at the end of their contracts come next June as well...........KSN understands Andy Hessenthaler has been given permission by Eastleigh to become the new manager of Dover Athletic - for a second spell. pic.twitter.com/AHBuyNDroX

Surely Harry Wheeler will get one of these jobs?
To be fair to The_Boss he doesn’t concern himself with non league matters anymore, well, for this season anyway. He’s at Maidstone...

Looking at Ian Hendon’s managerial career I’d say that you had a lucky escape!Hope Hess has signed a contract, I'll never forget when he quit (that's fine), signed a bunch of our players (ok I suppose), then nicked our next manager after he'd already been introduced as our boss (dick).
