Without bothering to read the other posts so I'm unsure if it's been answered; have they cancelled pay on the day, then? Otherwise your previous posts also applies. What if they sell 9,000 tickets so haven't checked anyone's private medical history (or is this now a requirement to purchasing tickets prior to the game, even though it's irrelevant if 10,000 people don't turn up?) and then 2,000 turn up on the day to pay? Are those with pre-booked tickets then checked if they haven't been already, if they've had a medical procedure? Seems an extremely odd way of doing it. It surely must go on capacity and not attendance, and it surely needs to be properly announced and officiated.Port Vale, as far as I can tell, have also restricted their capacity to 9,999... they just haven't made it official... but if they sell 9,999 tickets for a game then they can't sell any further tickets without having to make further restrictions.
If the idea is to then cancel all pay on the day attendees then this'll harm mightily lower league clubs.
