We're 2nd. They're 23rd.

We've lost 1 in 10 visits to Oldham.

We've only lost once away since the opening day.

Their club is a shambles.

I think that covers it. :D
I agree with that but it seems they have picked up some form in recent times (if not results). Our 2 best strikers is a big miss for me as we have nobody to hold it up. Small, pacy lone forwards work with teams like Manchester city who can pass their way through but in our league it's more about percentages and bringing others into play.

I think some people think this is going to be a comfortable win and with a full squad I would be confident, but they are scrapping for every point and it will be a tough game I reckon.

I don't think it'll be easy. Far from it.

Was just pointing out the reasons we're clear favourites.

For some reason, my head says 1-1.

Feeling confident tbh. Last 4 games we’ve drawn to Oxford away, beat Harrogate away and beaten Northampton & Oxford at home.

Which is exactly why we’ll lose 2-1.

Our drawing run is eventually going to catch up with us at some point and we will narrowly lose a game, we either win by a large margin or fail to score and create chances at all and draw 0-0 at home right now.

Wouldn't mind betting its another 0-0 tomorrow, Sutton will be hard to beat and if anyone wins it will probably be 1-0.

The last time our fans witnessed an away victory in person was the 1st January 2020, if we win tomorrow i'll get started on the Keith Hill statue.

My first visit to the Memorial for the battle of the Rovers. My away record watching TRFC has been dismal, over a decade since seen us win a competitive game away from home, usually go 3-4 matches each season. Not hopeful of things changing. The Gas will be on a high after their cup exploits in midweek, while we’ll set up very defensively and hope to grind a result out. One positive is Sunderland loanee Josh Hawkes recovered from a hamstring injury, will offer more than Feeney down the left if he’s fit enough to start.

I was jinxed badly watching Rovers in the early 1980’s when I went to 35 games over an 18 month period without seeing us win at home or away.
Won’t be in Bristol myself, nor any other Rovers game this side of Christmas as I’m currently in the Far East, which I think is a blessing in disguise considering our woeful recent performances.

If Bristol Rovers beat us, do we just given three points cause Joey Barton is a crook? Is that how it works?

Genuinely gutted I can’t make it down today as was one the games I first looked out for when the fixtures were released. Can see Bristol being on a high after that impressive midweek comeback so not confident in the slightest. 2-0 loss.

Quite a few Tranmere fans quite looking forward to our fixture - can I ask why?

Kinda seems odd to me?

I’ve got a horrible feeling that Aaron Drinan is going to score against us today. He had a bad loan spell at Sutton in 2019, and was the target of terrace boo boys, so it would be typical if he is the difference maker today

Don’t know why but I have a bit of a soft spot for you. The Memorial is a brilliant stadium and you’ve got a great fanbase. Plus you can turn Bristol into a great weekend if staying over.

That said, whilst I don’t think we will win, hope you’re all in tears come 5pm today.

One of our nearest away games this year and a decent support going over. it all points to a 2 or 3-nil defeat.

A brilliant stadium? Are you looking forward to being in that terrace in the corner?

I’ve always enjoyed my trips to bristol rovers (normally as we usually win when i go) the area round the ground is decent and the ground itself has character, it has flaws of course and the pop up tents behind the goal are a tad embarrassing but i’d much prefer that to a colchester (not picking on you) where they all look the same and have no character/soul

It is certainly an interesting stadium, for me a bit reminiscent of the Manor Ground (for those not old enough to remember it was home to Oxford United before they moved to the three stands Kassam), with lots of different stands all having their own unique character...a bit like the city itself, which I love, despite being a country boy at heart...although the one that does run the length of the pitch looks a bit like it was robbed from a horse race track.

Bristol would be a great place for a weekend away, plenty of things to see and do other than going to the football, when it comes to food I struggle to think of many places (other than London) that can offer so many different cuisines for you to sample. However, living just up the road, my visits tend to be a lot shorter.

I wonder if we can go 19 unbeaten for the second time this season....
Is 19 a particular record? If so, it would be a bummer if you had your record breaking win chalked off and then on the second attempt, lost at home to a team down the bottom of the table.

Particularly because it's extremely unlikely to happen. The only thing I can add to temper Exeter fans' confidence is that one of only two wins we have recorded in the league this season was at Swindon.

We had a terrible run at home in 1984 and the only game we won during that period coincided with my sister getting married at 3pm on the first day of the season. Didn't think it was anything to do with being jinxed, having a rubbish team was to blame.
We had a run of 26 games unbeaten at home in the early 90s sandwiched by 3-1 and 4-2 defeats by Bury with Craig Madden getting 2 hat tricks. He was a bloody jinx.

He's came across quite well in his interviews with us so far. Gotta remember the expectations we have here are a lot different to those at Tranmere.

The absolutely worst that can happen to you is you somehow don’t score and it finishes 0-0. Because we won’t be scoring. As I say we’ve failed to score in 7 of our last 8 league games.

But even 0-0 I can’t see happening. Whilst we did keep a clean sheet last week, it did involve Barrow missing pretty much an open goal.

As comfortable a win as you’ll have all season. We are terrible. Totally ineffective in the areas of the pitch where it really matters.

Feeling more and more uneasy about todays game, feeling a Bradford win..

For some reason I can feel us lumping the ball forward which does not play to our strengths. Not that we play liquid football at all, but I just hope we dont go overly direct.

If you genuinely think that, put some notes on it. You’d more than quadruple your money.

Of course I wouldn’t advise it, because I’ve seen us play over the last 3 months.

I thought Bradford were pretty good last week. Well organised and worked hard. Not the most free flowing but Adams sides are normally like this.

If it gives you confidence, we haven't kept a clean sheet in 8 league games.
Oldham fans said they were impotent last week but still managed to find a way past us.
But I won't bet against my team, thank you

He came across fairly well at the start when he came here, the problem was that he started blaming the supporters when things went wrong and we weren't even allowed in the place.
Its hard to have an influence on things when you are watching on tv, as a large majority of Liverpool fans on Merseyside could tell you.

Walsall away for us.

We've won on our last four visits, we seem to be better away than at home this season. Omens are promising, so we will no doubt lose...

Good game that, if I remember both teams went for it until you completely imploded with 2 absolute idiot reds?

Think that was the game our player of the season (thus far) got a freak ankle injury and never came back the same, released 2 years later. Shame
