I'm in Newcastle, and any time I've been following updates from the match while shopping round Newcastle, we've been hammered, just saying. Entering Eldon square gives me multiple flashbacks of hearing my phone ding, taking it out of my pocket and saying 'oh, well we're 3-0 down now'.

Good game that, if I remember both teams went for it until you completely imploded with 2 absolute idiot reds?

Think that was the game our player of the season (thus far) got a freak ankle injury and never came back the same, released 2 years later. Shame
Tom Davies will either score or get sent off.

Feeling more and more uneasy about todays game, feeling a Bradford win..

For some reason I can feel us lumping the ball forward which does not play to our strengths. Not that we play liquid football at all, but I just hope we dont go overly direct.

Should be a good game! City 3 Northampton 0 for me. Wells with two and McArdle steaming in at the back post wi...oh. Right. 2-1 Northampton.

3 changes from last week. Coley with his first league start. Looks like 4 4 2?

Not sure how we will line up with that selection. Either 5 2 3 or possibly 3 4 3. Who knows.

Having to play an emergency goalkeeper who signed today due to an injury to our normal starter.

Clanger incoming

Is 19 a particular record? If so, it would be a bummer if you had your record breaking win chalked off and then on the second attempt, lost at home to a team down the bottom of the table.

Particularly because it's extremely unlikely to happen. The only thing I can add to temper Exeter fans' confidence is that one of only two wins we have recorded in the league this season was at Swindon.
We are currently on our longest run ever in league games without being defeated and when you look at all competitions it's the current longest in English professional football, but it has been for a week or 2 now anyway

Bowery is our only striker today :bl: Hawkins is on but at CB. Two centre halfs on the bench so a bit puzzling to be honest.

Oh piss off!

I do think we’ll get beat today and I don’t think we’ve sold many.

Hmm, Yems has the balls to drop (cough) Nichols today. Although I do rate him he just hasn't been doing his primary role as a forward for the last few weeks.

Looks as though we have a right back as left back and no defenders on the bench either...although I don't know what's happened to Dalison. Another injury presumably.

There's gold in them thar hills and there's goals in that thar team ...unfortunately for me the gold ain't been found and the goals are against us!

Mike Jones makes his first league start for pretty much a year. Once again lacking even more firepower (if we had any to begin with) as Gordon misses out through suspension. I can't see us creating many opportunities to be honest.

We are so sloppy today. Can't pass the ball. Panicking at the back. A Carlisle win isn't as unlikely as our Carlisle posters thought earlier on.

Forest Green are tearing us apart. Look a very good side to be fair.

Unbelievable 3-0. We’re wiping the floor with these.

I doubt we’ll see a better team than these this season, tore us to bits.

Need a new manager ASAP

Individual errors cost us yet again, week after week.

Game over now, haven't got anything when behind at half time since August 2018.

Convinced we will never win an away game again

You seemed to settle a bit after we started quick but that second might be enough. We always have a wobble or two at the back though so wouldn't give up hope if I were you.
Nah much too good for us

We need to get a manager in fast

Frustrating, dominant performance, got the lead and again switched off to a long ball back in and punished. Similar to last week. We just can’t defend 40 yard balls into our box! Need Legge fit.

We’ve looked the better quality side but it’s anyones game.

Caught you at the right time with our rest and your upheaval, didn't fancy it with your previous home record. Our commentators reckon you're struggling a bit with the basics today but I've only got the radio

Poor game, I don't know about the red card but no excuse if we don't win this now.
Gibson was looking good for Carlisle.

Proper 4th division low quality battle at boundary park.
Enjoyable though.
I’ve quite liked hearing the other side commentary, but not today, the main guy is ok, but the owd duffer with him is annoying as hell.

I'm in Newcastle (not with shoddycollins in case you were wondering). As usual with me, music >> football.

I'd hoped that the confidence we usually display at home would allow us to get a result today ahead of some tough away games. Erm... no. All reports I'm getting tell me that no complex post-mortem will be needed after today's match. FGR are simply better than us by a matter of fucken miles. Fair play.

I guess we move on to (checks) Swindon away then Port Vale away

\o/

(Still, the music's damn fine. Later........)

That looked an elbow there didn’t it? Not even a free kick!

Come on, Songo’o is just protecting the ball - it’s natural movement. It’s unfortunate that your lads lips in the way, that’s all.
