Title race over?

Cannot see Rangers dropping points against anyone else really.

Sounds like Celtic had most of the game - didn't score, had a man sent off then scored for Rangers.

Probably sums up their season.

Liverpool are in a strong position.

They have the best manager In PL since Ferguson and they already know who his replacement is when Klopp eventually moves on .

The relegation battle looks super interesting, whether or not Motherwell and St Mirren get the points back that they were earlier deducted.

There would have been no glory in Celtic getting 10-in-a-row as they would have won half of them with no genuine opposition and they were a tad fortunate that they came back strong after Lockdown whereas Rangers were woeful.

Tend to agree really - bit like with their quadruple treble.

Done without much competition.

Not a great game but a bloody great result for us Bluenoses. Celtic fans up here are saying they were the best team and we were lucky to win. My retort would be....forget about the League Cup Final last season lads ? Anyway it is neither here nor there.....Celtic couldn't score but Rangers did. Nineteen points in front with Celtic having 3 games in hand. A tough game at Aberdeen next Sunday.

I have a tight knuckle for the boys and I hope this season will be as fruitful for them as the previous one. If the players stay in shape and the coach has a good tactic, I bode them a lot of success

Anyway....lol. A fine three points gained up at Pittodrie on Sunday past. Took a wee while to get into their stride but they got going. A surprising miss from the penalty spot by Tav but two fine goals by Morelos, back playing as main striker with Roofe being injured, gave Rangers a deserved lead. Regards the red card for Hedges, I thought he may have just got a yellow but because he made no effort to play the ball Beaton the ref said he had no option but to send him off as he explained to McInness. Quite unbelievable the amount of rival fans who are claiming Morelos dived. I know he has been guilty of that previously but this was a stonewaller. Personally thought that Curtis Mains outrageous challenge on Barisic was more worthy of a red than Hedges but Main only received a yellow. Second half for some reason Rangers laid off Aberdeen allowing them to get into the game and a good goal by Kennedy (?) made it a nervy ending for the Gers but they held out well. Motherwell away next Sunday.

Aided by Celtic dropping more points.

I agree - they might feel bare done by on one red card but Aberdeen were lucky not to have another sent off .

After the disappointment of a shambolic performance away to Motherwell last Sunday Rangers responded yesterday with an excellent performance at home to Ross County....the intent, aggression coupled with a lot of excellent football resulted in a great 5-0 win which boosted the points advantage and also the goal difference. I was delighted to see the return of Ryan Jack who got the final 30 minutes on the park and managed to squeeze a goal in also. Still not counting chickens but things are looking good at the moment. Easter Road on Wednesday and I'm sure we will be up against a more pumped up Hibs than they were as they destroyed at Hampden 3-0 against St Johnstone in the League Cup semi final.

Another manager upset with the line of questioning .

Or are they just feeling the heat of being under pressure in their job ?
I think it's a bit of both. Some managers just don't like being asked awkward questions but.....a lot of reporters will, if they don't get the answer THEY want, ask the same question with a bit of a tweak thinking the manager won't see through it. I haven't heard the Ross interview but I saw Neil Lennon's one.....the man is losing it especially over the Dubai debacle.

I can see Gerrard off home soon if Klopp can't sort out the shambles Liverpool have become.

Shoooosh...lol. Ach, we all know that he'll get the Liverpool job at some stage depending on success up here I'd imagine. Rangers fans are well aware of this and tbh I've not heard/seen a word of animosity against the man. Personally I feel he has made a great difference to the club/team/attitude and way of playing season by season since he arrived. When he does depart the Bears will wish him well!

Another good win at Easter Road last Wednesday against a Hibs team that was completely different in attitude from the one that was outclassed by St Johnstone 3 days previously in the League Cup semi final. Three difficult away games this month resulting in 7 points from 9 with home wins against Celtic and Ross County...all makes for good reading. I'm not going to go over the Morelos/Porteous incident because I could go into the game in depth regards other transgressions committed against Rangers.....but what I will comment on is that grubby, sewer rat Irvine Welsh, a Hibs fan who was a guest on Hibs TV for its broadcast of the game. Commenting on the Morelos/Porteous incident this fucking spunk stain said that 'Morelos should be chopped up into pieces with a machete and fed to the seagulls or words to that effect'. Absolutely disgusting. Look, I have no problem with people having their own thoughts but you do NOT go onto a media platform and spout off like that. Welsh has written a book called 'Filth'.....very fitting for him! He now has tried to back track.....

He can't be sacked mate as he was only a guest but, and this is just my personal opinion, the host David Tanner should have said something at the time instead of laughing and asked him to leave the studio. Hibs as a club have apologised to Rangers and I doubt they would even consider asking him back. Absolute disgrace! The SFA are investigating the matter and it is possible Hibs could get into bother ,which I really wouldn't agree with, as they are responsible or something like that (I can't recall the exact wording).

Something stinks in that dressing room at Parkhead. That's my personal feeling. Not that it bothers me whatsoever & as long as Celtic keep dropping points all the better for Rangers. But come to fuck, is there anyone on here that takes even the slightest interest in Scottish football actually thought that Celtic could be as poor as they have been ? Another disaster for them yesterday, beaten 1-2 at home to St Mirren. There was supposed to be a January review regards Lennon's position but there hasn't been anything forthcoming from the inner depths of Parkhead. Perhaps it has been put on hold since Lawwell has announced he is offski at the end of the season. Can't see Lennon being there for next season.................unfortunately....lol

Apparently a right stuffy game last night at home to St Johnstone which resulted in a 1-0 win for Rangers and another valuable 3 points picked up. Hamilton away on Sunday.

Think they said you just need about 15 points after the win last night.

Might be over before the season splits into 2.

This commentator has been sacked for saying he was going for a poo on air it seems.

Bit harsh or maybe been warned in the past about his behavior I guess and this was the final straw?

Worked it out there....13 points now required. If Celtic won every game for here on in the most they can get is 91 points. Gers are on 79 atm....so another 13 would take them to 92. Anyway, lets see what happens.
A week past Sunday at Hamilton was torture to watch. I have been getting the feeling that some players believe that the title is almost in the bag and have eased up, dropped their game and impetus, strolling about when they should be knuckling down and getting the job done. Hamilton fully deserved the draw (1-1) so it was on to playing Kilmarnock at home last Saturday....played better but against a 10 man stuffy defence it wasn't going to be pretty. A absolutely fantastic goal by Ryan Jack gave us a 1-0 win and 3 welcome points..

aye, I seen that....at half time he left his commentators seat and returned a bit late I believe and apologised saying he had to go for 'a jobby' and 'I had to squeeze it out'....ffs lol. Haven't a clue about previous or not but in these snowflake days you have to be very careful that you don't upset some arsehole waiting to be offended. He'd have been better saying nothing tbh.

Probably won’t make much difference to the season but 5 Rangers players caught breaking COVID regulations.

Guess they will get a ban and ticking off .

Fucking idiots SH....considering all that has gone on previously. No doubt a ban will be in the offing so we'll just have to wait and see how it is dealt with. Really annoying thingis with regards to Nathan Paterson....he has been one player to really catch the eye coming through the academy system....he's a right back, first team squad member and has played a few games. Now there is a possibility Tav has an injury and Paterson could have stepped in for him as a natural right wing back....NOT NOW! Out of the others only Zungu and Bassey (I think) have been in the first team but aren't really regulars. I like Bassey as he could be relied on when asked....
On to last night though....a fantastic away win (3-4) against Royal Antwerp which puts us in a great position for the return next week. If you get a chance try and catch Ryan Kent's goal.....fantastic mate.

Big win for Rangers and another awful result for Celtic.

Title might be won at Celtic Park - good job there won't be fans there!

yeah it was mate. Apart from the opening half hour I enjoyed it. Lot of positives, good 4-1 victory which takes us to within 7 points of the title. Joe Aribo was MOTM and scored an absolute pearler of a goal 2nd half. Defence was a bit sloppy giving away the goal but these things are going to happen. Honestly can't see Neil Lennon still being in charge of Celtic next season.

May, 1999. That was a day and a half & yours truly was in amongst the Bears.
