fickle by any chance? His worst one was the 'honest bunch of lads' which he repeated a million times in interviews.
 That's the one. I was late to the O'Leary era, the worst manager quotes I remember was Lambert's 'we go again'.

All footy fans are fickle but we seem to have less patience than most. Aston villa is a football institution but we need to face reality which some of our fans are not doing. Other clubs have had it a lot worse.

Losses of 81 million. Next season is huge for us in terms of financially and we must get promoted. Fail to do so and things could get rather bleak.

No shit, considering that's on Premier League income too.

I'd say both clubs are very very very similar in size.

YES. We Newcastle fans for example.
And a certain midlands team put the boot in more enthusiastically than any other. Hysterically in fact
Now expecting better treatment from others than they give out

Villa are bigger than Everton according to Dean Saunders lolz

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39015629
It's not delusional to think we are a bigger club than Everton but imo we are not. Also we are not a bigger club than Spurs or Chelsea either. I think we have massively underachieved as a club and the potential is there to be huge but we are where we are for a reason . I think Saunders is going a bit OTT but it's his opinion of course. We are one of the true great English football clubs though.

it's the past let's move on. I don't give a shit about Newcastle, most villa fans don't and I'm certainly not expecting better treatment from other fans.

Highly delusional imo.

Bacuna has been handed a 6 (SIX) game ban for chest bumping the linesman. Let's put that into perspective...

Arsene Wenger pushed a linesman and is verbally abusive. - 4 games
Jonjo Shelvey makes racist remark. - 5 games.
Leandro Bacuna chest bumps a linesman. - 6 games

Great consistency and logic once again by our great FA.

I'm not condoning what he did, but 6 games is fucking ridiculous.

It's an absolute joke when you compare it with the other sentences.

Wagner getting a 2 game touchline ban for showing a bit of passion aswell, both sentences are way over the top.

Well it probably depends on who the person involved is and who they/manage play for...

Worth noting though that they have promised this year there would be harsher punishments for such offences. Shelvey's is a joke though.

So why was Wenger not more harshly punished for the same (but more obvious/intent) thing?

Banning a manager from the touch lines isn't exactly a punishment is it? He can still do his job regardless, whereas a player is physically stopped from doing his job. More of a financial hit to the club to, I'm not sure how much the average player gets paid per game but I'm going to say 6 games worth is quite significant. Bit of a farce really. I wonder how long Zlatan will get for smashing his elbow into a colleague's face?

None, he jumped into Zlatan's elbow apparently...

Hey guys, my first post on here. Been a Villa supporter for 23 years. Try to go to as many games as I can but I live 4 hours away so don't go every week. Been to 3 home games so far this season and going to the Sheffield Wednesday game on Saturday. Saw the 2-1 Victory against Burton on Boxing day and then the 1-1 with Leeds a few days later. Also saw us lose 1-0 to Ipswich so gradually been getting worse in the games I've been to. Hopefully we can carry on this little win streak tonight (although I will be more than happy if we can get a draw) and then keep it going into Saturday.
