They will need to score a lot of goals after today if they don’t change the system. We’ve been terrible going forward in recent weeks but if any manager of opponents to come watches that he will know exactly what to do if they go 3 at the back.

We didn’t actually have a proper striker on and dropped our usually attacking full backs to set up more negatively. Monty, Manny, Conlon, Rodney and Wozza just took their back three apart. So much space at times.

They look good going forward although Sarcevic I didn’t realise was on the pitch as he was barely involved, Doyle was a handful and their full backs were decent but left a huge hole to expose that back 3.

Evatt will need to re evaluate that if teams look at how we got at them.

It's the comments at the start of the second half that are the worst. Their team is getting a pasting, and they practically guarantee Bolton will make it 3-2 before going on to turn the game around.

Easy to see where Masi gets it from

Most popular 4th tier teams in the world on instagram during november...

A massive club like Bolton basically half as popular on the socials as little old Exeter?

Hello league Two..
Please clear your desks and make room for us again after a 5 year absence.
Coming down at Easter (unless we sack our tactically inept manager soon)

If we can keep Cheltenham, FGR and Newport it will be a Southern League reunion gig next season.

Come to think of it. Werent Cambridge United ex Southern League too?

We are going down with a whimper if we don’t sack Askey this week.

Sick of him in almost the same way I was sick of Aspin to be honest. Shit tactics, no plan B, shit subs/lack of subs. The only difference was that Aspin actually had an eye for a player whereas Askey just signs his mates that have played for Macc.

Or people who are very much not mates based on some of the issues off the field too!

Huge week, massive must win game at the weekend and should have 5 or 6 key players back including Worrall and Monty so should be 6-7 changes with Legge banned.

Hopefully get a signing or two but sacking Askey is pointless if the rot isn’t being dealt with in the dressing room.

Wouldn't be so quick to assume that beating a dreadful port vale side means you're safe.
It’s hard to judge them on that game to be fair, they didn’t have to do anything outstanding we were that poor. Weather didn’t help either for either team. Sure they will be fine though but whilst below us can’t be classed as out of it by any means.

Being only 3 points above the relegation zone means you are no where near safe, no matter how much you won the last game by.

It’s like the fixture compilers guessed who all the shit at the bottom would be and stuck us all together for a full month to make our January’s more interesting.

Cos it will cost them half a million to sack him.
But if they sacked him and got somebody else in it could be in their best interests as the new guy could spend loads of cash in January to turn their season around as they are nowhere near the salary cap as they’ve hardly spent anything so far, Masi said so.
