Just seen he's been averaging 78 since the start of 2016. Ridiculous he's never even entered the reckoning for the England side when you consider some of the gash that have had their chance and in some cases, chances.

He wouldn't fit into the current England side though, he's not an opener, nor is he a number 5 really, which I can already see being ducks if called upon.

Would love to see him in the ODI side.

As for ODI sides and Sam Billings, ffs, we'd hit 500 with him in our line-up.

How good do Surrey look btw, that bowling line-up is cheating.

Lancashire playing a RL game in green just looks wrong.

Listening to a low scoring game at the Oval. This is one of those 'who do I despise least?' matches.

Blake smashed it all over the park for Kent :2thumb:

Gifted the game to Somerset in the end.

With around ten overs left and the wicket of Trego was the time for some tight, disciplined bowling but instead there were no balls and wides all over the shop. Disappointing.

ICC Champions Trophy starting next month then - early thoughts?

I think England will do well although some bookies have us down as favourites (I don't agree with that) given the nature of ODI cricket now virtually any side can have a 'on your day' kind of performance. Splitting NZ/England/SA and Australia is hard work, not to forget how much talent India have playing in the IPL these days.

South Africa are my shout outside of wanting England to win. De Kock and ABDV has the potential to be lethal.

I agree with England being favourites, we're one side that will go out and break records to get a win.

Our bowling is quite fancy, mixed up well, ok not the best, but as we've seen when touring, we demorlize teams because we bat so far down there's a partnership to see us over the line somewhere. We've actually revolutionised cricket in a way.

No other team can bat as deep as us, Waokes will score a match winning 60 (40) at 9. And this will be the tournemant Stokes surpasses Flintoff, and Roy goes on to be a legend.

Got tickets for the Pakistan India game at Edgbaston. Cannot wait, Pakistan fans are absolutely mental, went to the T20 at OT last year and probably the best atmosphere I've ever heard at a cricket match, sold out with literally 80% of the crowd supporting Pakistan.

Should be a 9/8 wicket win here.

Could do with some batting practice really.

Cant defend 300+ the last twice, then defend only 200 with ease :dk:

The oldest rivalry in county cricket today.

Despite Kent failing miserably in this tournament this year after blowing 3 games from very strong positions, always important to beat Surrey.

Going to Surrey v Hampshire at the Oval tomorrow (weather permitting!)

Both seem to be a bit hit and miss but on their day can perform pretty well batting wise.

Expecting a shite IPL final because it's an utterly shite league and overall product but it's ridiculous Buttler and Stokes aren't out there for it.

Decent all-round performance it seems after South Africa made a good start.
