If they don't sell up in the summer, can you see the boycott returning?
Yep - it’s all hands on deck right now as fans understand the magnitude of our league situation and have given Shez they’re full backing as he deserves. BUT we also know that should the owners not be true to their word and sell up by the summer, we have to return to the same level of protest to make sure they know they’re not welcome.

One step at a time though - for now the focus is firmly on the pitch and with Shez at the helm, it’s a happy place to be again

I have some sympathy for Millen, he likely got none of the players he wanted in January, got lumbered with players who aren't fit enough to actually play or who Holsworth already had in his phone, and a previously reasonable defensive record has been scuppered by injuries.

Not that long ago, with McDonald and Mellor in our defence we kept 4 consecutive clean sheets, which is the sort of thing that will get you out of trouble down the bottom end... now though we look like we couldn't find a clean sheet in Ikea, too many changes, not enough leadership. Simeu, the one player who I think Millen actually wanted looks like he'll be a good player in a couple years time, he has it all physically and he's well thought of at one of the country's top academies, but he's still got too much to learn, Southampton should be paying us to have him.

Elsewhere on the pitch he's just trying out random line-ups in the hope that he stumbles upon the one that gets goals, there's some decent players in there still, the likes of Patrick, Guy and Gibson should be too good to be in a relegation battle, Devitt and Dennis will probably be limited to cameos for the run-in. He doesn't strike me as a motivator at all. You have to think someone else would have better ideas for avoiding relegation. Millen is a youth coach, not a manager.

I listened to his post match interview on Radio Sheep Dip - he's not very inspiring at all.
You're right about clean sheets - don't concede a goal and the least you'll get is a point..... 15 x 0-0 draws would take us to 46 points and probably be enough this season.

I can see Oldham staying up. We've been in pretty good form of late and you were much the better team and deserved your win against us last week.

I think we've just played the 2 teams getting relegated this season. Scunthorpe for me looked worse than Carlisle who at least had a couple of potential 'match winners' in Patrick and Riley and sub Gilbert. Prizes to Nuttall and Sho-Silva for looking like prize winners rather than professional footballer.

Brave to go out in town after being dicked at home. Just seen the goals I hope Simeu plays against us, static for McKirdys goal...surprised he is a Southampton youngster!
Southampton paid Chelsea £1.5m for him in the summer which makes it even more shocking. He’s honestly one of the worst players I’ve ever seen play for the club. 12 goals conceded in 5 games since he arrived. Think we’d had about 5 clean sheets in 7 games before that.

Actually feel sorry for the kid, he’s so far out of his depth it’s embarrassing. But our manager is so thick he keeps playing him.

Wow £1.5M. We have 2 rookie CB's on loan from Championship clubs and they both look miles better than him.
Barrow, Stevenage, Orient and Colchester are well catchable if you can start scraping points. Still a long way to go.

our issue isn't so much letting in far too many goals it's not scoring enough;-
we've only scored more than 2 goals 4 times;- 3 goals twice and 4 goals twice (but they were in the FA Cup against Banbury and Barnsley). If we can continue with a mean defence at least we should pick up some points. On our day we can beat just about anyone - but also lose to the worst teams in the league.....

They brought 2 other players from Chelsea too last summer.

Maybe they had to get this guy as part of the package?

The others are regulars in Southampton's team I think.

What is wrong with your owners? I read somewhere that he says he's personally put £5m into the club. Is he lying?

I think I got second hand drunk watching that
You get some right nuggets out on Botch, the consensus among United fans with that at least is backing Omari for standing up for himself and those around him. Funny thing though, Brennan Dickenson was out with him and also released a statement and the comments are less sympathetic because Dickenson isn't our best player and main hope of staying up.

I think he probably will be a decent player in a couple of years. He has the right physical attributes and is learning at one of the best academies for giving kids a chance. Not that how good he might be in two years' time is of any use to us. Kinda like when Jermaine Beckford was absolute bobbins for us as a teenager, but went on to have a good career.

Oh boy, where to start.. I don’t doubt he put significant money in to begin with but he spent it horrifically. Issues range from putting his incompetent brother in charge of recruitment, dressing room interference, banning fans for having opinions, multiple employment tribunals etc etc

The timeline in the link below gives far more detail than I ever could but essentially we have lurched from crisis to crisis under his reign culminating in a strangulating embargo that would have (and still could) see us drop out of the football league if it wasn’t for John Sheridan.
