Says James Nursey from The Mirror. He has no credibility whatsoever
Just saw it on the supporters page.

We'll probably sack Johnson, have Rowett down for a final interview and then he'll get approached by Norwich anyway. Would be about right.

Sounds like Ipswich may be stealing a march on Mr Rowett. Your move Steve Lansdowne...

I'd laugh if Ipswich sacked McCarthy and gave Terry Connor the job till the end of the season. His record as Wolves manager was played 13, lost 12 and drawn 1. To be fair to him though that draw was a 4-4 away to Swansea.

I've seen a lot of rumours about McCarthy being sacked last night and this morning, but mostly they're people putting two and two together and making five (like the ones above) and not from any credible source.

Would be a bit odd to not sack him after losing to Lincoln, then sack him after an away game you're expected to lose anyway.

We've had a tendency to finish managers off so hopefully we can pick up another 3 points next weekend and do Ipswich fans a favour.

He's got to go soon as our fixtures till the end of Feb are horrific, can see us losing every one of them if he's still in charge!

Our next four away games are Derby, Leeds, Newcastle and Villa. Need to act fast otherwise we're going to find ourselves knee deep in shit.

There both shitty runs to have, knowing this league though one of you will probably go on a good run and be talking about the play offs at the end of February.

No word on Johnson getting the sack yet, bound to still be in charge for the Wednesday game and a 9th straight defeat. He's got to fucking go now, I don't know anyone who still wants him at the club

On Ziderheads, the usually reliable Wilski has stated that he's gone and we're just waiting for the announcement.
As I say, he's usually pretty reliable but we'll have to wait and see I guess.

He's usually pretty good fella and not one for tittle tattle.
I don't know myself but would hope sense is seen. I've nothing against LJ at all but do think this is a job too soon for him and we cannot go back down, we just can't.

....

Because I believe he has the passion and the drive to make it work.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why people are after his head, and TBH it's very hard to justify supporting him right now. BUT....the club and Lee signed up to a long term plan, a plan which I think really could take us somewhere, and I just think abandoning that plan at the first bump in the road is the wrong thing to do.

Everyone just needs to hold their nerve and see where it takes us.

I appreciate the sentiment as well as your loyalty DBD but this isn't a bump in the road, it's a crater!
I'm beginning to think LJ is a very good coach but nowhere near a Manager at the moment. I'm sure he will be given time but, as i said earlier, I think this job came a bit too soon for him.

Without a doubt the job came too soon for him. I think a lot of people thought he would become City's manager one day, but the opportunity came along much quicker than expected.

However, I don't believe anyone expected him to do anything other than stay in the Championship and build the squad this season, certainly promotion was never a target. He IS building, and I fully believe our Championship status will be fine, so with that in mind I think he should be given the chance to finish what he has started.

Our owner's on BBC Bristol and ITV news tonight, at least he's not sitting back and letting LJ take all the flak I suppose.
