Well, I've been here (counting TFF, the predecessor to this forum) for over seven years. Where I'm from and who I support is quite widely known. But since you couldn't possibly know, I'm swedish, I support Liverpool.

For the record though, during his best seasons (2011-2014) he's one of the best full backs I've ever seen in the Premier League. At his best, he was absolutely fantastic and should definitely be talked about in the same breath as Cole and Evra in their primes. And to state something I'm confident you'll agree with ten times over, if he played for Liverpool or United, he would be.

Give Southampton £10 million to replace Mane and they will. That's not me basically saying "Mane is rubbish" I'm saying that Southampton are great at finding players on the cheap that become good players (Mane, Clyne, Tadic, etc etc).

According to Independent (4hrs ago), United have tabled an improved offer to buy Mkhi. Seems like the deal will be about 35-40 million, for a player on his last year of contract. His wages will certainly be a lot higher compared to Mane too. Having said that, Mkhi is definitely a better player than Mane at this stage of their careers. Who offers best value for the money will be seen next season.

Yeah great player, when you think of all the big money disasters City have made particularly defensivley, the deals Mark Hughes struck for Zabaleta and Kompany were nothing short of outstanding. I don't think both together reached 10 million.

Guardiola will rip the heart out of City. He's going to get a massive shock I think when he rocks up there.

Happy with that; we badly lacked depth last seaosn and his versatility is as important to us as anything.

A lot of suggestions we'll be using him in midfield rather than fullback though which could be interesting; I was impressed with him at LB for you guys, and he looks more solid defensively than Daniels.

You mean Ben Arfa? Why on earth would that make you feel ill? He's on a free, he's just had a great season and he's good enough for our first 11. The only question mark over him would be his defensive contribution which is why I doubt we'd get him. Okazaki has to do a lot of defensive work and we ask Mahrez to drop back and help out. I doubt Ben Arfa will be much good for that. And they're the two positions he'd likely fill.
But in terms of an attacking player we'd do well to get him. Hopefully it's not because Mahrez may be off though.

Did you not watch him at Newcastle, he's had a good season in a poor league. I don't doubt that he is skilfull, but he has an ego the size of a continent, exactly the type of player Leicester doesn't need, he will probably turn up for the first match in a tuxedo !.
If he comes I can only hope the characters in our dressing room will cure him of his ways. He was talking himself up as on his way to Barca earlier in the season, just shows what a very high opinion he's got of himself. Our achievement last year was built on team work all for one, one for all, this guy is the complete opposite.
