You're also failing to realise Kopper that Leicester have one of the best sports science departments in the country which is one of the prime reasons injuries were so few and far between. We don't use horse placenta and magic, we use groundbreaking methods involving big fuck off needles, strange liquids with names like ee12f6, brown envelopes and... I've said too much.

Player power n that, innit.

I for one am beyond happy to have him back, and though buying someone you let go for free may leave a bit of a sour taste, it's quickly covered by the sweetness of us finally sorting out our midfield after years of neglect.

Also another interesting way of looking at it, is that even if we retained him when he left for juve, chances are after all the Moyes and van gaal bs he probably would have eventually left for Real anyway. Now we'll have his best years in a team on the up with one of the best coaches in world football.

Onwards and upwards.

Why is this guy so obsessed with me? smh.
I've hardly had any dealings with you on here, you're too feeble to attract my trolling son.

Question for you though. Why do you persist in using slang that obviously doesn't form your day to day vocabulary? It's embarrassing, every time you do it I cringe. It's one of lifes great anomalies that racists are quite often wiggers.

This guy..lol. Stop embarrassing yourself now. Won't be surprised if you are one of those who are part of Sharia Patrol around UK.

As well as fending off the likes of Schalke, Leverkusen etc - all better prospects than West Ham/Saints and so forth. I'd also argue holding off Bayern is tougher than the sides here.

I don't understand the point you are trying to make. There is numerous evidence to show that pressing football can be a huge success if done right - your team have a man in charge who has been there and done it before. There is no need to write his style off after 6 months, using a squad that he has had little time to impact upon with signings.

You'd argue holding off Bayern is tougher than holding off Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City? How does anyone begin to argue that?

Roger's employed the pressing style. To great effect, although it had it's limitations. Most of which I've already expressed.

Can a mod distinguish that these two aren't the same person?

You can't win with this guy. Even though there are numerous examples of a pressing game working over the course of a season, he denigrates the achievements of the sides that did it.

Klopp did it for most of his reign at Dortmund, but reaching the Champions League final and overhauling Bayern with far less resources isn't impressive. Leicester did it last season, but doing it with a bunch of misfits that should not be competing close to the level of City, United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and even Liverpool is still not evidence that it can work. If you have the right personnel, are lucky with injuries or have a deep enough squad, pressing can work.

Ok, Leicester didn't play in Europe, but their squad was paper thin. Spurs played more games than any team in England (apart from Liverpool I think) last season with a pretty intense pressing game, they were only bettered by another side that played a pressing game. I'm very confident Klopp will make it work for Liverpool too, fantastic manager.

It may not be the best or most sensible tactic, but it has been sustained over the course of a season several times to great effect.

That Liverpool squad is only 3 players different to last season.

Yeah - a Bayern side in the top 3 in the world, yet Klopp's lot managed to get the better of them twice in a row. In a league where it isn't such an open battle (as the PL is, big sides drop points vs other big sides), Bayern dominate everyone and so it took something special to stop them. Dortmund managed it.

Rodger's employed it, but nowhere near as effectively as what Klopp can do. Different class of manager.

He's wanted by Manchester City, Real and Bayern. If he is talking to Liverpool he is not Sane at all but, rather, INSANE.
Solid post mate, solid post.

Atletico Madrid preparing a £32m for Origi according to bleacher report.

Bilo made it quite clear, if his lil bro gets banned he'll go full on Lucas. We don't want that.
Why does it come so naturally for you to assume people are relatives?

That Liverpool squad is only 3 players different to last season.
That eleven, without the additions, was very impressive last season. Problem was, of course, they hardly ever played together. And there's no reason the same injuries won't hit us again this season, I suppose. Our worst injury crisis was in december-january and we had no europe then.

If they would manage to stay fit though, which is too big an if to rely on for the record, it's very good.

So it seems like the Pogba to United deal is pretty much done.

Exciting times.

If Rooney would kindly piss off we could play this front six...

Schneiderlin
Herrera--------Pogba
Mkhitaryan---------------------------------Martial
Zlatan

I think United may want to sell in order to offset the cost of the Pogba deal. Mata, Fellaini and Depay are obvious choices for the exit. But does Blind and Januzaj join them?
