this is the same Cox who signed him for Mansfield??
Tbf, he had Green in front of him during his time there.

Nah, the marquee signing that Cox was talking about was Parkin - collapsed at the last minute (the deal, not the fat lad himself).
Simpson always tries to sign Parkin for teams he's at and misses out at last minute (at Lincoln under KA, two summer ago here and now at Barrow).

We have had a five figure bid rejected by Dover for Riggott, expected to go in with a second offer in coming days.

On a completely unrelated note what's Omari Sterling like? He's been on trial here and in the games I've seen he looks good.

Good young tricky player but end product lacks at times and he can be muscled off the ball a little too easy at times, has potential and would do well at conference south level.

Paul Cox confirms Barrow's move for Matt Rhead is "dead in the water" after having a £10k bid knocked back. That's what they offered in January as well.

The club has denied any offer for him, he is not the player we have offered money for.
Seems his agent is using the club to encourage offers for him.
He's out of contract at Dover.

god it just gets worse.. desperately need about 3 or 4 more players I think you mean as well
Why do you think that? I think get another striker in and we're good to start the season.

Jordan White being out is such a blow though! He was going to be a key player for us the first few months of the season, he'll be very hard to replace.

Raw, very raw. He has great pace, but his touch is a bit off and needs to improve his finishing and he doesn't have much strength. I wanted him to stay though as he does have some potential if he works hard, but he did very well to get a move that high after having a few good games near the end of last season.

We're signing Byron Harrison, supposedly. Fits the bill, but don't know a lot about him as he's mostly played in Southern divisions and League 1 & 2.
Any good?

Wrexham fans, well anybody really

Kayden Jackson good enough for us ?

Strengths/weaknesses, just general opinions please because we have signed him on season long loan from Barnsley.

Hi. I have moved your post to the Transfer Rumours thread where Kayden Jackson has already been discussed as there is no need for individual threads on players.

Thanks!

He will chase every ball and anything down the sides or over the top he will latch onto it because he is rapid. I wasn't too fussed about him leaving us to be honest, it was obvious he wouldn't get a game for Barnsley and I thought we might even see him back to us on loan. He will probably be a sub option for you I'd imagine as he's not a great goalscorer. He's the nicest guy in the world though and won't cause any trouble, he will work hard and just wait for his chance. Bit of a confidence player and seemed to benefit from a good run of 10 games or so on the bounce.

That the ex-Stevenage striker? Fared okay in League 2, if I recall.

Yeah, just looking on Twitter, it seems like fans of a few of his ex-clubs say he's rubbish, and fans of other L2 clubs excited at the prospect of signing him. Not done badly in the league though, and should be fine in the conference. On paper, him and Hannah is a good partnership.
