I don't know why you're struggling so hard with this. We've had our only daytime away day up north until Boxing Day taken off us for a bullshit reason. Of course we're not happy about it.

I honestly believe that just about any other club would have done the same given the distance and fixture times, I do get why you're disappointed but as I've said before I think you should aim your ire at BT. Let's just agree to disagree, so go ahead post your last thoughts on the issue and I promise not to reply and then hopefully the thing gets put to bed. Cheers.

Looks like Kyle Bennett is another one of our trialists. Was a top League One player not that long ago and only 30, but can’t imagine his 13 game spell with Grimsby last season was particularly successful.

Looked crap at first and got a lot of flak from our fans and got injured and never really came back, however for the 3/4 games before he got injured I thought he looked decent.

Andre Wright isn't an ex-Grimsby striker. We had a defender called Andrew Wright for a bit but it won't be him.

When we had him on loan from West Brom about 6 years ago he looked like a really exciting prospect but he's never lived up to it.

Came back for our NLS season massively overweight and with an attitude problem and never started a game, released after a handful of ineffective sub appearances.

We had Wright on trial before he signed for Bohemians. He was absolute rubbish tbh. Surprised he is anywhere near Notts.

Good player, rubbish agent. We offered him a deal last summer which he didn't want to accept (fair enough) but seems his agent hadn't spoken to the club to understand the sort of money we would expect for the release of his registration. Kalala couldn't even get a trial elsewhere because of that so has been kicking his heels for 12 months.

He's a tricky winger who is more than good enough for League 2 in my eyes

He was on trial at FSV Zwickau (German fourth tier) last week.

Oh and it's Kalvin not Kevin
