I'd question both Cotterill and Lansdowns sanity if they offered that.

Can't believe Boro have paid 4m for a penalty taker. Awful business.
He's scored goals in the BPL for Lecister (which aren't penalties) , so he can probably score more in the championship. I think he's a bit overpriced (I would've only payed £2m for him) , but everyone is at the moment. And, if you believe he's only a penalty taker, he's scored 132 goals, nearly half at a Premier League or Championship club.

It's now been confirmed we won't be getting Gayle. Sad, but we have targets ready.

We'll need some serious reinforcements in the next few weeks, Jota now also ruled out for the next 4 months. Massive blow to our chances, still need to replace Bjelland (8 months) and McEachran (4 months).

Don't see how we'll be able to challenge this season unfortunately.

Fucking hell that's rotten luck to be fair. Glad we took Dallas off your hands when we did!

I've seen the pic of tarkowskis nose too, while some players will carry on with a broken nose, it's not unheard of for them to sit out for a bit

Thank god our pitch is so bad we don't have a game on Tuesday or he might have missed it! #thingsarelookingup

Sky are also saying Bolasie to Spurs for £21M. That sell on clause would be worth £3.75M if it's true. It makes you understand why Palace wanted Gayle to come to us now!
Shopping time Stevie boy.

Yeah, when you add Hogan who's a striker is out for the season again (2nd year in a row) and McLeod is still months away from playing (joined in January and hasn't played a single minute) we have terrible luck with injuries at the moment.

It's got some of our fans asking what can be done with FFP if half your team is out injured? Arguably 4 of those 5 players would be in our best XI.

IMO FFP is rubbish, if clubs spend ridiculous amounts, they die, and chairmen know that.

A way to help clubs not die without FFP is by the fans "sacking the chairman". If a selection of fans want to, they can write a letter for the chairman saying that they want to sack them. If the chairman resigns, fair play, but if not, the fans can take the case to court, where the court would decide whether to sack the chairman or not. This would help Blackpool, and possibly would've helped Parma. This is a random suggestion, and something so stupid that I have missed will probably be pointed out completely ruining the idea, but whatever.

Rumours are that we've enquired about taking Mustafa Carayol on loan from Middlesbrough.

£21m for Bolasie?

Shame about Jota. Would have liked us to go in for him. Seems we're still keen on trying to get Pritchard though, I'm sure Brentford are too.

Yeah. Noises I'm hearing are still that Spurs will let us have one of him or Alli, just waiting to hear which one they want to send out. Looks like Pritchard given Alli is hitting the bench a lot. Hearing they'd prefer us to others as it would be pretty much guaranteed first XI, and we play good football which would suit them both.

So do we! But there would be no guarantee of playing every week.

Not doubting you do, but any loanee would have to get past your very strong squad!

You might be able to give a larger loan fee, or wage contribution which might help, but we have a very good relationship with Spurs at the moment.

Are these just rumours amongst the fans or? Last I heard Pochettino said a loan move wasn't suitable as he'd be featuring for them this season as a bit-part.

Would be a good signing for either club of course, just a lil' surprising.

We have already had a loan bid rejected. Remain keen though, which suggests Spurs haven't ruled it out completely.

I'm not "ITK", but have mates that are.

Spurs are very keen for them to feature, but it's very unlikely that both will, hence the rumours from our side that one will be allowed out on loan. It's been a story all summer that whichever one they don't think will get time with them will be loaned out, and that we stand a very good chance of getting that player.

Makes sense that approaches now have been rejected (we've also had one) as Pritch is injured so they need more time to assess. I'd put a lot of money on one of them being loaned out, and from what I hear we stand a very good chance of it being to us.

Surely if Alli will get loaned out it will be to us... He will 100% play every minute and we play good football.....

Think he's past that standard now IMO, he'll be going to a top end Championship club/bottom end PL one if anywhere.
